Speculations... You don't oversize an engine by 20% and shed 250 kilos like this, especially adding a hybrid system in the process, even if your name is British Aerospace...

I'm also not sure about driving 290MPH on CF wheels but maybe I'm just getting old...

It's a step up from a Super Car but not quite a Ludicrous Car.

You saw the humorous intent, welcome to my world, or should I apologize?

Oh I picked up on it right away.

I was going to write something else, but I didn't want to offend any of our Euro friends. LOL

In reality I find most of those blokes more understanding than those stateside, less ego if I may.

Jim I am like you in using my cars on track and appreciating performance. However, I find the P1 a derivative of their MP4 and henceforth not divergent enough to warrant such a huge price difference.

It's performance will be hugely different around a race course than any other road car.

0-300KPH in under 17s, 6s under GT3's on Spanish F1 track, likely 6:55 on the Ring.

Yes but with about 50k in aero, suspension and engine mods an MP4 could duplicate it I am afraid.
I have just added a widowmaker to my garage...She will get the Switzer 700 upgrade

    Nice!

Not true. P1 is a totally different animal. 0-300KPH is as fast as an Audi R8 LMP1.

50K won't buy you 1300lb of downforce and 2.5 G's of lateral acceleration.

If I was young and crazy instead of old and crazy I'd buy a real Widowmaker.

    0-200 MPH in 10.9...

Respectfully disagree. If the F-car is losing its mystique, it is because they are not producing inspiring cars. No disrespect intended, but that FF is just plain wrong. (And no, I have not driven it. I don't need to drive a Dodge Matador to be uninspired, either.)

Everyone had made some great points.

    My choices

918 b/c of warranty and useability. I don't want to replace batteries with some of the prices being mentioned around for replacement.

P1 b/c the numbers thus far are impressive OR F150 with access to manual KERS, which it won't have.. :( I hope you're wrong Jim.
