    Hi Guys,

    I've located some Yoshi shields and in the spirit of perfection and accuracy, I'm looking for proper dimensions to place these on my car.

    Some other members (with aftermarket shields) have helped by posting dimensions but I'd really like to get these dimensions from someone with factory shields (and nice pictures showing the location well).

    Thank you for the help in advance!

    Nice work Swancoat. I'll have to re-measure mine when I get home to see how I did. I used the Yoshi instructions, but having photos of the real deal is always better!

    Thanks Fab. When I said others helped, you were the one I was talking about and I appreciate your help. I justed wanted data from factory placement.

    I did not stick mine on yet coz I plan to buff my car but I did fit them today (needed minor bend). Pic here is just masking tape on back.

    Definetly a good choice...yellow will stand out nicely. You can get the stencil stickers on eBay.

    I dipped mine to look like carbon fibre...I must be the only nut who's done that!!!

    Gang,

    Further to this thread, I am having my Drivers side front quarter panel replaced and was thinking that this might be a good opportunity to replace both panels with the embossed/indented panels required to replicate the recessed factory shields.

    First, can this be ordered from Ferrari? I can't see why not. I assume at some point the owner of a 355 with factory shields got into a shunt and had to order a new front quarter panel and, obviously, wanted to order a front panel with indentations for the shields.

    Has anyone done this? Are there any owners out there that have had non-shielded 355s that have ordered new, pre-indented front panels from Ferrari so they could replicate factory shields? If not, has anyone done this aftermarket -- i.e., had a bodyshop "replicate" the indentations in the fenders, matched paint, and then installed the shields?

    Would love to know. I have to make a decision soon. thanks.
