Can't wait. What wheels are you running on the 599, btw? They give the car a very aggressive look over the OEM ones, imo.
Cleaned up the garage look a bit during the recent cold weather. Always disliked the clutter of the overhead trusses and tracks for the garage doors. Since I have enough height, I had the garage doors converted to run straight up and down. This eliminated all of the hanging trusses etc and really gives the garage an airy feel. Used Liftmaster commercial grade jackscrew motors and had a drywall contractor clean up all the old holes and new ones created to hide the motor wiring. Contractor was kind enough to leave the scissor hydraulic lift for a few days so I'll paint the ceiling and exposed wood framing tomorrow. Planning on a bendpak flush mounted scissor lift in one space and have a concrete contractor coming to cut out the hole in the floor (and beef it up so it has enough support at a 3 or 4 inch depth). Thinking 2 or 3 additional 4-post lifts and done. First pic is the before look... Very nice! Should have been this way from the begining. Looking forward to seeing some lifts. Probably my favorite garage on here.
+1; amazing collection for sure. I now see room to add lifts for every spot in the garage, and start building vertically. LOL!
I guess Ebay has been my friend for the past two weeks. My garage had barren walls and stuff laying around. Seeing some of the garages on this post gave me the butt-kick to add a little Ferrari personality. Pics, posters and lighted sign courtesy of Ebay. Housekeeping courtesy of a nice saturday. Guess i might as well enjoy a nice clean garage now as spring and yard work are right around the corner... The panorama option on the iPhone definitely gives the garage the big-picture view. RufMD - lovely work on the garage. That is great attention to detail and I am sure it will change the look of the garage. Do you mind posting more shots of the length of the garage to chow the difference?
a couple more... LOL, the matching car was purely coincidental, although now that you mention it, the other 2 family vehicles are silver. I think I need help... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks very nice, Bob. I like the clean and simple look. Jas, amazing as always. It's going to be much better that way. And maybe some more room... How's the Jag so far?
That's what I had installed in my new 40X80 garage. I love that the doors go straight up (the 14-footer goes a little out), but those Liftmasters are awesome. So quiet, too.
