    Just noticed a sign in the window. Is this the same Mancuso family behind Lake Forest Sports Cars? Look forward to seeing what they do with it!

    Yes. You can follow their build process on Facebook. They told me they're trying to compete with the sales of McLarens down at BGC. Said today they're planning to open May 1st. CAN'T WAIT!

    Hmm! How 'bout we plan an "invasion" on opening day at the new location by driving our Rrari's down in a show of support and interest? If all goes well, my 328 should be delivered just in time for the 1st.

    Anyone knows what will they do? Sell used exotics? Or a 2ndary showroom for their main operation in Lake Bluff?

    I think it's like a secondary showroom but I'm not sure. All I know is they want to compete with Perillo.

    I believe the story of why is a little more complicated than that. Most of which has to due with their relationship with Ferrari. It's Lake Forest BTW.

    The dealership is, in fact, in Lake Bluff and not Lake Forest.

    Is it safe to assume it will only be McLaren? I know BGC picked up Maserati, and I would assume outsells LFSC 10:1 in Maserati, so not likely to have maser there.. Is BGC getting Maser potentially a precursor to them picking up Ferrari?

    From what I understand (info on Facebook) that it will be pre-owned vehicles only. Not so sure on the 10:1 for BGC. Continental AutoSports also sells Maserati. I doubt Ferrari would allow a 3rd franchise in Illinois, especially one that also sells Lamborghini.

    But again, I could be wrong.

    Not sure of the details, they have a big sign of a McLaren P1 in the window and looks like they're making some progress on the interior. Live right by there and look forward to it opening. I wonder if they're hiring :) ?
