Also keep in mind the rear haunches has some kind of air scoop along the top of it. Mostl ikely there will be a pair of air inlets somewhat like the Mclarens in back over the rear wheels.

I think it is the back of the car looking forward and taken with a wide angle lens - the dark area above being parts they have blacked out.

I think this is a good possibility. It was my first guess. That shape looks like the roof. If it were driver's POV shot, I would expect the fenders to appear much taller. It could be possibly be a very low angle shot looking up the nose, like that fisheye Enzo pic, but I don't think that matches the official teaser photo at all. The reason I think it may be looking backward is I expected (still expect) very large exits behind the front fenders which would likely be visible in this view, if it were looking forward.

ETA - looking at the pic again, it could be looking front or back, based on the teaser. I'm leaning back toward my original guess that it is looking forward, because a roof scoop would have been more obvious on the mule. An outlet or periscope would be easier to mask with camo.

 

No it is definitely not the back of the car at all.
Look at the mule. there would be an obvious window shape there as well as completely different surfacing. This view is of the nose and pretty certain its from the front looking back.

100% the nose you can just barely make out the rectangular ferrari nose badge on the front end.

 

Hopefully not.....

 

Alfa seems like the likely marque... If that's it. That would be fantastic.

 

I have a feeling that the front will take time to get used too like most new Ferrari and the rear will be spectacular.

 

Does this have anything to do with it. I posted this pic with questions and no one replied. My presumption is the weird vertical black pieces are there for good. I think this teaser is most definitely a distorted image of the nose.

We discussed them earlier in the thread - there were some elements that were close, but overall it is not correct. He produced an updated version with changes to the nose - not sure if it is any better?

Ok, sorry guys. Just wanted to have a confirmation as a friend of mine said those renders were very close to the production model.

 

This is really ugly mate. Oh well, I guess that's not an issue if beats the P1 to 300 km/h.

 

Hopefully we can get all these bad images out of our heads with next week's reveal.

I just hope that we are laughing because the car is much better looking than some of the speculative renderings....
