We saw her too, on 59 headed south. I got a spare tire in the garage if you need it. of course it getting a little old. kelly
Thanks Kelly, I'll ask Jim about that. I had forgotten about the keys in the couch fiasco, hahahaha, it was funny in hindsight!
Yep, he's rockstar famous now. First he gets local restaurants naming sushi rolls named after him, next he's spotted by the paparazzi riding shotgun in a towtruck!

During Super Bowl week there were two California's running around Lakeview, a black one with "Ferrari of Atlanta" tags and a white one with "Ferrari of Miami" tags.
Silver 430 parked on my street! I can't get an iPhone photo from this distance in the dark, but I also want to avoid looking like a psycho. Heard it roll in. Haven't sent this silver one in town before.
Just now.... Black 456 with shields and tinted windows going down Canal St in Mid-City. Looked like it may have been lowered a bit too.
It may be the same one I saw parked in front of a house on Robert E Lee, between Macroni. and Wisner for the past few days, which had a dealer tag.
New Orleans or BR area? The LSU Lambo guy was harassed on a local board called TigerDroppings. Someone posted the picture and (anonymous, of course) people began bashing him. He showed up to complain and it got worse. A shame people can't just appreciate the car (and Tiger fanaticism) without being jealous pricks to the owner.
Talk to a car guy at a a local B&N about the gray market during the 70s/80s. He owned a Porsche dealership back then (when the cars were about 10 grand new). He said, "One day a buddy of mine had his pickup truck with a trailer pulling some hunk of junk old Mercedes. I said, "What you'd give for that piece of crap?' '20 grand.'" The car was a Mercedes Gullwing.
Just Drove past the LSU Lambo in my neighborhood...a TV camera was out there interviewing him....I was in the 65' Merc Benz 230SL and not the Ferrari...I still gave them a Honk as I went by . Mark Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice pic! Some nice weekend sunny day rides. I believe the LSU Lambo guy is from Lafayette. He sure has got a lot of attention from the striping.
+1. Yep, Meet the man who painted LSU tiger stripes on a Lamborghini - SBNation.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the link to the article. Seems like people attack the guy just for having a damn car. Not sure when Americans went from celebrating success and showing respect to those doing well (even asking for advice) to insulting, displaying envy, and attacking them (us). The 'you're being a ****** showing off' is especially insulting. "I like a car and it really has nothing to do with you and your feelings of inadequacy." Aggravating.
Hi guys. I live in Lafayette, Louisiana and I was curious as to what kinds of cars are in this town? I have seen Audi R8s, Lotus, 360s, Testarossa, a yellow Gallardo, Astons, all kinds of Porsches, and there are probably more, but are you guys aware of what else is around here? As a car enthusiast I am always searching for cool exotic cars around but around here they like to hide.
Yea that kind of nonsense just amazes me as well. I can't say I like what he did with the car and I sure would not do something similar myself, but chances are he was not looking to impress me. His car, his money, his to enjoy. I hope he enjoys it in good health and he should not give a sh*t what others think.
