I did find one of these that I can get, but the price was very high. I was wondering if anyone is reorganizing their collection and would be interested in selling it.

    thank you,

    Hello:

I have several 1:18 scale 328 GTS and GTB models by a company called Carat that made these models from all brass.

They have leather seats and carpets. Pop-up lights, locks on the doors, working suspension.

The bodies are all brass so they are thin to scale The louvers look amazing,

If interested eMail me at [email protected] and I will send some photos.

Did Kyosho make the GTS? I have the GTB but have never seen a GTS.

Yes they did. And they even have the convex wheels which would be great since that's what the real one has that I just bought. If you google it you will find places advertising it, but they all say it is out of stock.

I think they made red, yellow, and black GTBs, and a red GTS (black interior). I had a black/tan GTB and a red/black GTB, switched bodies, and ended up with a black/black GTB, closest I could get to my real black/black GTS.

Of course, Anson made black, yellow and red GTSs, too.

I have looked for about two years for a Kyosho GTS, and most are in Japan near $200.

I found someone local (well, local to me in Toronto, Ontario) that has a new one he will sell me for $250. I thought the price might be a little high, but since there don't seem to be any available for sale, I suppose that price might not be too bad then.

Yes, but a bit of research showed that he just left the R off the end of his email address. Also, a google search shows he is pretty big-time in collecting large scale models. I appreciate the caution.

Well, it comes down to the worth to you. I have models that I paid a lot for, that I would not now, and vice-versa. Some expensive ones I bought by not buying a few less expensive ones as offset. I don't know if any more will be made in any colors, or if they have used up the 328 for good.

That being said, if it is "your" car; get it while you can; it won't get cheaper. If you are a model collector, put off a few others for now to get this. If not, get the one that matches your car. I got the Anson black 328 GTS, and as mentioned before converted a Kyosho to close to mine. Other than an IXO and Mattel 1/43 GTB, this is about all there is for 328s.

Basicly the Kyosho is a much better model, from the overall lines to the detail levae, they sinply cannot be compared.

Now, the Anson is not horrible, it is just old. Technology has advanced in model making. The Anson was made in early 90s, and the Kyosho was made just a few years ago.

I bought a black/tan Anson, painted the interior black, changed the wheels, and it looks pretty nice.

If I saw an Anson in the colors of the car I had, I would get it (for a lot less than a Kyosho). The Ansons were going for nearly $100 for a while as the only thing available. When the Kyosho came out, Ansons were $15. Kyosho all sold out, now Anson prices is going back up. Get one if you see a fair price ($30-ish).

like yourself,I had to have a 328 model like the car I had,red/tan. At the time, mid '90's,the Anson was the only game in town.
    I'll still look for a Kyosho,I guess :)
