so, what is your defination of a masterpiece?

I have never driven an FF, probably never will. But I have read and listened to the accounts of people that have and they are all, without exception, in very high praise of the car and the way it is engineered.

Selling it short as 'a box on 4 wheels' in a (rather poor) attempt to be funny (or so I assume) can only be explained by the agenda you obviously do have. We all know Ferrari will not receive any praise from you and we all know why.

Something that is worthy of being displayed in a Museum.

Once again you're posting silly things. I think the FF is very ugly and agree with the poster who called it a "box on 4 wheels". This is what I truly think. I have no agenda in stating what I truly think. I also have no agenda in thinking that the F70's nose is a bit funky especially it's radiator treatment, it's sides are good and it's back is very P 4/5. This is what I truly think. I also think it's a tad cut and paste, less integrated than P1 and that's it's more classically beautiful than P1. Once again no agenda simply what I think.

What you state as fact isn't.

Every Ferrari dealer I have spoken to rolled their eyes when telling me how well the FF handles bad weather....I said I didnt know this was meant to be an SUV

I think there really is some justification for this extrapolation ... so, if i may provide some elaboration for the justification of the extrapolation :)

Let's compare some mid-engine Ferrari road cars, and see how well the Fiorano lap times extrapolate to Nurburgring lap times:

    CAR...........FIORANO............RING

    458...........1:25=85sec.........7:38=458sec
    430 scud....1:25=85sec.........7:39=459sec
    F430..........1:28.5=88.5sec...7:55=475sec

The ratios hold up quite well :)

CONCLUSION: If the F70 really is 5 seconds faster around Fiorano than the Enzo, then it's entirely reasonable to expect it to be 26 seconds faster around the Nurburgring ... in other words, a lap time at the 'ring just under 7 minutes.

A NY dealer just threw one away to a friend. 750 Miles 100K under msrp.

The details didn't impress me. The flimsy plastic seat belt extender vs the sturdy metal one in the CGT.

I would expect the F150 to be VERY quick around the Ring...Sounds like the design is quite modern

If so, we can expect lap times at the 'ring to be well under 7 minutes :)

When EVOIX7 released the details of the car, based on the render, I immediately started to draw an impression based on all teasers and spyshots.
    Hope you like it!

Nice. C pillar needs a little work. I think you've drawn shape twice. (Upwards triangle)

Double bubbling the roof might look nice.

It looks like the car will be 200kg lighter than the P1. Smaller battery pack perhaps. But 200kg with similar power is an enormous performance advantage.

    Agreed.

If the 200kg (440 pound) difference in weight proves to be true, that's a HUGE difference. I still think that McLaren went a bit overboard on battery-weight/energy-storage for KERS ... it will be very interesting to see the battery-weight/energy-storage on the F70.

Front looks overly busy... and perhaps still too reflective of F1. We will see.

Be careful not to compare dry weight with curb weight.

Blah blah blah. And under the great Enzo we got the 308 Dino gt, 400, and Mondial 8. Wow. Museum pieces under the watchful eye of "the master".

Ok, we've had our daily supply of F car bashing now. Can we talk about the F70?

Even at curb weight its still less than the 1400 kg of the P1 that allot said would be allot lighter

Ever notice how successful enterprises attract irrational detractors? Apple, Google, Exxon, Ferrari are some. When they become successful they automatically become dumb, incompetent or even evil. The Romans knew about this kind of thing: "Rem nimium bene gerere, in solitudo esse."

I truly hope the design is forward thinking and revolutionary just like the Enzo was. From the renderings I have seen and from what I have heard it will be. McLaren's design is to safe and derivative
