Could be Joe that wasnt a very good video. I do know the car was at Lambo of Dallas in August/Sept. and the current owner is from OKC.

    Here's the thing......

I know for a fact the car does NOT have the miles that dealer that sold it claimed and the poor sap that bought it wanted to start a pissing match with me which as you recall had me banned from here for a week last year.

I know the car PERSONALLY right down to the loose bottom left side stitching on the dang steering wheel.

12550 DOES NOT have 1200km original no how no way.

When Domani had it a few years ago the car had a load of problems that WERE well documented here then all of a sudden when I started to post the thread vanished.

The original ODO was messed with when the car had over 7k KM's on the clock then all of a sudden became "missing". Please don't get me started with it Joe. Someone might ban me again. lol

If does have 1300km's ORIGINAL I'll give the current owner my (now) pristine 5000s for FREE that's how sure I am his car has been tampered with many times.

Why delete the threads with what I know to be fact is the question?

I think it has certainly done the rounds, but look at it as a learning experience and at least you are having fun with what you have now.

Wow Joe do you know if this is a current photo, vs 20 years ago?
Is this from the factory in Italy?
Behind the frame on the bottom are some beige colored sections. Could those fit previous year Countachs, or maybe partially assembled frames that never made it to final assembly?

    Interesting photo

    Current image, 2012.

Taken at the chassis builder Marchesi & C. s.r.l. Via Dei Tipografi, 29/32 - 41100 Modena (MO). They are in business and have a number of 25th chassis left over. These chassis are slightly different from that of the earlier cars.

    MARCHESI - L'AZIENDA

Interesting article in Italian on the chassis builder who have been involved with Lamborghini since the 60s when they were responsible for the Miura's chassis.

Yes, I can definitely say this is correct....but it is either 65,66 or 67 depending on who you ask. These were RHD cars imported by Portman Lamborghini BUT were not all the worldwide RHD cars (eg excluded Australia)

Well. The truth about the 5star cars is interesting. There were TWO Anniversary cars with chassis numbers one apart both in that gorgeous metallic purple.

I wouldn't trade my carb'd car for something like that.

Glad I moved on when I did, however! I still have a bad taste in my mouth because the current owner is in denial and is an ass on top of it.

If he was cool about the truth, trust me I would never say another word about it.

My advice would be to move on, especially if that's what you are saying you are doing. All Countachs are great. You have a carbed one and it too is great. I'm sure it has a great home with you.
