    Tuning right now will be thru the TEC3. But I need to get on the road. I got it going late in the season so we got snow.

    Now if I was down under I would drive thru Riversdale rd for a test drive. But thinking about it, those bloody trams would be in the way wouldn't they? ;)

    Oh, and 40c would not be nice either on her. Crazy weather last week.

    Sorry. That's the ECU, the computer.

    You can adjust everything on the fly. I'll be driving and a co pilot would change numbers on the software on my laptop and you would see and feel the changes instantly. It's pretty cool.

    I have MoTec on my 355, and I've tried that numerous times.....it doesn't work well enough....take my word for it.

    Not even you're enough of a genius to make that work.

    Do yourself a huge favour and just do it on a dyno. Takes so little time, and it's much more accurate.

    I agree. Dyno would be the best.

    Hopefully in 4 months, I have her button up, meaning the wiring is still all over the place, fix the exhaust, get her registered and insured, get her running a little better and then get the dyno done.

    The latest WinTEC software has a rather good data collection module. With it you can dial in the car, at least, for street conditions. No sense spending time and money on a dyno when you can do a lot of the preliminary work ahead of time. Once you're satisfied with the street performance, then take her to the dyno.

    Dyno time is well woth the cost for tuning in a programable ECU.
    Easily done in half a day and a few pulls with a knowledgable tuner.

    100% agree. Been there, done that. Trying it on the street is just too hard and too dangerous.

    and....it's not even accurate! You'll be doing everything you do over again.

    Finally got some nice weather after a month of snowing or raining every Sunday.

    Got to take her out for a spin around the block. Ran good.

    No problem John.

    The fronts needed some spacers and longer bolts. I got those from Dan at Ricambis. The rear wheels had to be narrowed by a 1" so they can fit. Those where sent out to Weldcraft.

    Excellent, man. It's always a pleasure to here the snick of each gear change in the gated shifter, and the exhaust burble on overrun. It's still farking cold out today though... hope it gets above freezing so I can wash the M3.
