Yep, also a bit of a broad comparison (Viper grill to f70 grill) when we have not seen the f70 details revealed yet.
This is a new low for Lamborghini. A car that costs four times as much as an F70 but is slower, less powerful, less advanced, shows no innovation whatsoever and is pig ugly..I guess they were feeling left out? They're totally irrelevant when it comes to real halo cars so let them have their 5 minutes before Ferrari show them how it's done, this abomination will be forgotten about as soon as Luca pulls the cover off the F70. Well we'll just have to see which one gets more attention this week, won't we?
The one thing I am hoping for is that the difference from the Enzo to the F150 is as different as the 458 was from the F430.
Im not sure what you mean, the side windows are unorthodoxly round so it hides the C-pillar from the front... but in the video, looking from a higher angle, the windows lines up to the Huayra C-pillar I used but looks odd and thin looking at it directly on the side. The headlights style and hood vents have similar design cues to me.
There is nothing on the floor in Geneva which will be more strikingly beautiful than the F150. I respect the technology of the P1 and the 918 and whatever will become of this Lamborghini. But all kidding aside, I feel somewhat embarrassed for them come tomorrow morning. Hopefully all their booths are close to one another so it looks like people are admiring the McLaren and 918. If they are on the opposite side of the floor, it will take more than free caviar and champagne to lure the journalists away from the Ferrari.
After waiting so long for information that I DON'T know (which is a great deal I suspect) I would be disappointed if that was the name all along. I'm keen of the name: Ferrari F70 'Forza' Short, sweet and to the point...
I understand what you're saying but still feel that the top of the c pillar on the F70 is more beefy that your perspective shows it to be. Very Good drawings as usual. Your point about the F 70 Greenhouse vs your drawing may not be as off as you think. Ferrari has to fit a lot larger clients into F 70's than I do. There are several who can fit into an Enzo who can't fit into P 4/5. F 70's Greenhouse is a lot more Enzo than P 4/5. There is also the issue of the header. JC wanted a teardrop Greenhouse and it took a lot of work to make that viable on the road. When you come to a red light for example in P 4/5 you need the transparent roof to see it change. With a larger, squarer Greenhouse you don't. F 70's double bubble is a very nice solution. I wonder if Enzo windshields and F70 windshields will be interchangeable. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is it me or the covered car in the center has the lines of a convertable? What is the guy running trying to do? Stop the photographer taking pictures?!
Photog seems to have caught everyone's attention for sure. What's with the bridge above the rear wheel?
Haha, he definitely looks like he's running after someone that snuck inside that curtain. It looks like a 458 Spider actually. (with a F12 and a FF on either side). I'm sure they won't have the F70 on the floor until after the reveal.
The reveal happens here, in Geneva. The car has to be in their booth beforehand. That's going to be it there in the middle under the red cover. >8^) ER
Proving your unintelligence again I think? When the curtain comes away I'm sure we'll find Ferrari's new supercar in that center stage position. >8^) ER
absolutely not. it is precisely the new F150 because it is in the middle of the stand, because it has a different floor and because it is closely monitored by security.
