    Hi
On my 550 when I push the button I get a correct outside temp reading. But if I'm correct in reading the WSM, if I push the button again the temp reading should go away. Mine stays on until I get home or where I'm going. I don't think that's normal. Is it?
My other issue with the button is that it feels very "wiggly" (loose). Not sure that's normal either.
Looking forward to salt and cinder free roads again!

On the 456M, you push a second time and it disappears, so I'd say it probably is not normal that it only resets when the ignition is turned off.

Thanks Allan. I didn't think it was normal.
When I get my sticky parts back and get them all installed, I'll delve into the switch. Right now the car looks vandalized!! LOL

My 550 you press once it appears, press a second time it disappears. Sounds like a repair.

Mine functions perfectly, comes on with first push, off with second push...Oh wait I almost forgot, the temperature reading is never close to being correct :)

My temperature button feels wiggly too. The stem is thin so I guess that's the reason. But it works properly.

The one for the clock broke so I use the end of a cotton applicator to set the time.

The one to reset the trip odometer doesn't work at all.

    I guess you can't have everything. :D

    Hi Barry,
It's nice to know we both Wiggle!
It's been almost a year since I acquired mine, and so far knock on wood.......
Course it is a Ferrari and sooner or later....something will "change" . I continue to read and learn and I'm very appreciative of all the tech info you guys have taken the time to post. Thank you. Drake

    Hi Drake,

I don't know why your outside temperature display is doing that. I used the display twice about five years ago when I got the car. I tried it last night just to see if it wiggled so I could answer your question.

i guess I haven't used the display for fear that that button might break too. I keep a couple of cotton applicators in the car; one in the glove compartment and one in the tool kit. Ferrari should have made a slot for one in the Schedoni case. :D
