THE F70 (LaFerrari) Thread

Definitely not a successor to the F50 but from that angle, the window and top remind me of the F50. Maybe the name will be the Ferrari Tributo as a tribute to the great super Ferraris? Just a thought.

Could be a Le Mans car of some sort like was mentioned earlier.

 

It's hard to tell what is what at the moment.

 

I agree on number 1. However, anything is possible but it would not be hard to put a little cardboard here and there and make it look like something it's not this far from the reveal. That's all I'm saying.

 

Perhaps instead of "La Ferrari" it's L.A. Ferrari, as in Los Angeles? (La Ferrari would be hilarious)

I'd be shocked if it's really called LaFerrari. That has just got to be some type of internal moniker.

If it is called "LaFerrari" I'm going to say they've officially bought into their own hype and have jumped the shark.

laferrari.com requires username & password with me. did someone manage to make screenshot before the website locked out? the reason why i think it's funny the F70 is a convertible is because we got so many rumored specs in this thread and I didn't see convertible coming by as a rumor. but if i think about it for a minute it makes sense to me. because then the 'F150 GT' is not a successor to the Enzo which then as tribute to mr Ferrari himself would exist forever. but to the F50 as F1 car for the road.

the rumored power output specs doesn't suprise me the engine in the FXX also produces something like that and they are testing that engine sinds 2007 onwards by this time i think it could be fit in a road legal car.
