Homepage - LaFerrari site with video and plenty of photos EDIT: it's really called "LaFerrari"? Really?
Looks fantastic on the video, technical specs on the site mention every major stat except weight, that's a bit odd, any info on that?
what a beautifull car, i really like the design the enzo is soooo ugly, the F150 is sooo beautifull i'm instanyly in love with this car. i saw all the specs on the dedicated website this thing will EAT an mclaren P1, as Jeremy Clarkson would say: "it makes the mclaren look like a bentley" Design 1-0 ferrari but LdM WHY DID U GAVE THE CAR SUCH A STUPID NAME. it's really italian styling they build a wonderfull machine a piece of art but in the end they ****up at least something in this case the name. to all new F150 owners: congratulation hope you will make a lot of safe miles on the roads and experience real beast in it.
"And this is my new car, Ferrari La Ferrari". NOPE Finally, a Ferrari that looks like those crazy CGI concepts
Well, it does look suitably hypercar, but I must confess the first impact on the images wasn't the "whoaaa!" I expected. In the context of these super-high end machines design is a bit generic. On the video, in the track it looks amazing though, as surely it will be "in the carbon". Gear changes sound blistering too! I was expecting the car to not only be lighter but also "look" lighter. I actually think the 918 is the best looking of these new hypercars, but then I don't like the porky weight. Weight, weight, weight... When I hear LDM was "personally" choosing the name, uh-oh! went in my head. Enzo was pushing a little bit but LaFerrari... what on earth are they going to call the F80, since it will be the new-new-new pinnacle of Ferrari road cars? Ferrari UltimaFerrari?
I can't stop looking at it. It just works in every aspect. Drink it in! I know there are many varied opinions on the Fcar line up, but I think the 458, F12 and now the LaFerrari are some of the best penned cars from Maranello in a long time. Congrats to Ferrari on your design and execution on this masterpiece!
I agree. We are living in a golden age. The name of the new limited-edition is beyond comprehension though.
Me too. For sure - the competition has never stiffer and as intriguing as right now. I'll book a flight to Geneva for the weekend.
The initial details about the KERS system are very impressive : - battery pack weighs 60kg=132 pounds - battery pack charged by braking, of course, PLUS it can be charged by the gas motor ... while the KERS system keeps the gas motor revving during cornering, for example (which also aids responsiveness during exit) The car is visually stunning, in my view, and the performance metrics are simply awesome!
I love the car, stunning. "LaFerrari" name is stupid though. I can't wait to see a Top Gear UK episode of LaFerrari vs McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 This video is sexy: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRsV6YpLsKA[/ame]
