Can anyone PS the splitter in body color? The front wing / splitter contrast are the only awkward elements of the design, IMO.
Well said. At least someone gets it. I just don't understand the people singing its praises. It looks like each section of the car was designed by someone different, way too much going on. Also, the chunk of body work over the rear wheel just looks way too thick and fat, killing any chance of a light and agile appearance.
Haha not quite. Twitter changed their API today and is not allowing unauth'ed requests anymore. It has nothing to do with the traffic.
Interesting. My reaction, upon spontaneously waking at 5am this morning from excitement, was delight - she looks beautiful, purposeful, agile, and unique. I can't wait to see her in person when I visit Fiorano in May.
Our monitoring site is now running fine but it's running hours late. It's never recorded more hits for P 4/5 than today. It's now running 2 hours late usually it runs only a few minute behind. Absolutely love this car! The name? - They could have called it the Brenda and I'd still love it! Perhaps Ferrari don't give a rats rectum about the 'ring! What is this obsession with the 'ring these days? - unless you're Sabine Schmitz (love that girl! ), chances are you're not going to be driving on the 'ring everyday so who really cares? It's basically a bunch of willy waving at the end of the day. As for the real World, just how many of these cars are really going to be driven that much? Sadly, the vast majority of them will end up sat in a collection collecting dust for fear of lowering their investment potential. If they're lucky they'll get an outing to the Ferrari meetings once or twice a year, and maybe one will turn up at The Goodwood Festival of speed, but they're not going to be used for popping out to the shops for milk or to drop the kids off at school are they? As for the show-car having Fernando's name on the plaque mounted on the steering wheel and possibly being his car, My sources tell Me that Massa got a bit upset about this so Ferrari have decided to give him one of the test mules! Apparently the plaque on Massa's reads: "Filipe - Alonso is better than you! - Can you confirm you understand this?"
What I will say next will probably get me banned, but ....... The car s Horrible looking and the name is unimaginative. Sorry to say it, but the car is a letdown IMHO.
I don't think you have to worry about a ban. Opinions have been entered from all sides - it is those people who don't know how to express their opinions in a constructive and non-personal fashion that catch the attention of the moderators. I'm leaning towards not liking the car myself right now. I really need to see it as the video gives me some good vibes, but the stills from certain angles make it look rather awkward. I'm sure the performance is top notch, but the same was true for the Enzo and I never really warmed up to its styling either. >8^) ER
True. The front is what is bothering me. In regards concerning the ENZO, I feel the same way(Not feeling the passion), but i LOVE the FXX.
The company vid reveals interesting details not seen in the still photos. For one thing the tach -- no one can complain they can't read it. For another, the air tunnel exit in the rear of the front fender: similar to the F12 but a tunnel not an airbridge. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Somewhere here there is a photoshop of the f150 with the roof painted red, it looks even better. Amazing.
Maybe I was expecting too much but I'm a little bit disappointed with the design. I like it but I don't love it.. although that might change when more pictures comes out but as for now I'm not impressed. For some reason, I think it already looks "old". The Enzo was so different and dramatic, so I was expecting this car to be even more special. The enzo looks like nothing else. For me the LF is basically a hardcore mix of an Enzo and 458. It looks so big and almost clumsy at some angles. Especially this angle. That's borderline ugly to me. http://content.worldcarfans.co/2013/3/5/super/910106741603206917.jpg The only part of the car that I really like but then again, there's something about the rear lights that I don't like. It looks a bit small to me.. and I'm tired to see the rear light pop out of the top of the rear like that again. I thought Ferrari started re-integrating the rear lights on the rear again like in the F12 (i hope you guys understand). I would have preferred it to look like Jim's P4/5 or this rendering which I think looks way better and sleek than the LF. http://log.autogespot.com/08-2012/f70rendering/3.jpg http://log.autogespot.com/08-2012/f70rendering/1.jpg Anyways, I still can't wait to see more pics, especially on the road. Maybe I will change my mind but so far, I'm a bit disapointed.
