Personally, I couldn't be in stronger disagreement :( of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion :)

But i can't help wonder ... a graduate in auto design, with such very strong opinions about the new supercar, has surely penned his own ideas for what the new Ferrari "should" look like. If he hasn't already, probably wouldn't take too long to draw a sketch or two.

    Care to share?

Oh good gawd. Now people think the US Art Center is the authority on good design?

Have you seen what comes out of Detroit lately??????

Sure the LF design team was full of graduates in design. So which graduate is wrong and which one is right? This is all too subjective I'm afraid. There's not even a consensus about whether LF is influenced by P4/5, which should be straightforward...

There is a funny one on top of the Mac P1. I can't figure out what it's for but I think -- believe it or not -- its the fuel filler.

P1s roof scoop is part of the Monocage and feeds air directly to the turbochargers. The fuel filler is located under a flap to the side of it. The opposite side has the charge port for the batteries.

That's an ArtCenter graduate there standing next to the car too. No wonder you don't like the design. ;)

That's more of a scoop or inlet, not so much a snorkel. (I'm splitting hairs here, I know)

Looks like they're using Velcro to secure the flap.

Yes, but it's just an early prototype.

I respect the heck out of it but the relationship between the C pillar and the rear haunch leaves something to be desired.

    My 2 cents

I come on to Ferrari chat almost everyday for the past 3 or 4 years on and off before that. I spent most of my time for the last year in the F70 related threads...

Currently there are way to many threads and massive reposting can we please get back to one or 2 threads...

Like some I was here with some of the guys we talked alot over the 8 odd hours leading up to the unveil... We even :) thanks :) to someoone you know who you are got a leaked pic about an hour or so out from the unveil... Things were great here.. everyone had there say and were respectful.. Since then things have gone to a pre school level... If you dont like the car thats ok have your say back it up show respect and then step back... Everyone that has seen the car has talked very highly of the car.. as do many of the day in day out FChat supercar threaders...
But here are a few that sadly have turn things sour... One person came on, has a cry about the car and then say I waited 5 months for this clearly unlike most fans have waited 10 years.... its ok if you hate the car but we dont need to hear some you know at an LA design house hates it etc his word is little better than Jo down the road not like he design the Zonda etc ..I mean do you ask him if you look better in Red or Orange underwear.. We are all Younger to older Woman and Men hear lets act like it... Lets Enjoy the moment ....

Not everyone likes the same things we all see and hear differently that why we dont just have one type of Car in different size, A sonysung TV lol, one sort of shoe etc remember that :)

What do I think The La Ferrari Its amazing I cant wait for more info Ferrari have done a fantastic job and I believe in person the hates would even find it hard to say neg....
The name as I tweeted To Harry M from Evo "who cares about the name look at that thing"... well thats my 2 and 3 cents have a great one and enjoy lifes too short

Anyone that has an iPad should go buy the magazine....amazing pics of the car and great article. I couldn't wait to receive the paper copy so go it on the iPad. Well worth it and I think it's by far the best pics of the car I have seen so far.
