I am in the evaluation of a new Track Toy and there are a few interesting cars available. I have found several GT3 and GT3 Scuderia Cars but the GT2 gets my attention too.

Does somebody have experience in tracking a GT2 and GT3 Scud? I am wondering if the GT2 requieres a whole staff of Michelotto technicians or if I can run the car with my well trainied staff (they are experienced in Challenge, GT3 and 458 GT3). I dont race the car, I just will do a few track days and I drive it far below the limit. I just enjoy the possibility to drive a race icon which the GT2 definetly is.

I am wondering if the GT2 is very different in case of maintenance compared to the GT3 (for a Gentlemen driver)?

GT2's are very strong and hold up well. We have one that we used as a benchmark for our P 4/5 C program. I'm sure your guys could handle it. We'll use ours as a track day car with very little support crew.

The GT2 is on a different planet compared to the GT3. Especially if you're only going to drive it well below the limit, the GT3 is much cheaper to own/run.

IIRC the GT2 requires a full engine rebuilt after 5K (miles?) which will run to around 40K...

Are you driving in the Porsche Club suisse events? There are many Ferraris there, and a few 458 challenge...

The GT3 is almost faster than the GT2 but easier to handle at the limit. But the GT2 is stronger and at 200 k € a best value for money. Maintenance is maybe expensive but also in my Porsche cup the engine rebuilt is around 20k €...

I just take part on "Pistenclub" or other Club events, not Porsche Club Suisse but I know some of the Challenge Owners there :)

Be aware that I have not to run with the FIA approved air restrictors, so I can use the full power of the GT2 engine... engine should run 10k KM as I not drive it on the limit so I guess I just need a one rebuild per year. The GT3 Scuderia Engine and Gearbox needs rebuilds at Kessel every 10K KM as well.
