Ok, this did it for me! Is this not gorgeous or what? 2015 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Spyder - Top Speed Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is a rock star! Anyone want to buy a slightly used wife and kids? That might afford me a down payment. Or I could sell my house - I hope the seats recline - I'll need a place to sleep.
I agree it looks very nice indeed, but it does look like the photoshop which was done when the f12 was launched, but if current trends continue they will follow suit with the spider version of the F12 with the design setup used on the 458. I must admit I much prefer this type of style convertible, always felt uncomfortable in 348, 360 or 430 convertible style, but less so in 328 gts, or the F50. Great wind in the hair experience, without feeling over exposed .
Nice future design but i think that SA Aperta looks much better than F12 in it's barchetta version..!
Looks great but, according to the article, it would have a soft top -- not a retractable hardtop like the 458 Spider. That might make a difference for some of us in the Northeast who will have to leave the top up much of the time.
How is the F12 in length compared to the California? Would you say the frame is meant to go spider? For example, the 458 clearly was. I'd argue the 599 was an afterthought and the F12 seemingly falls into that category. This rendering looks bunched up like a Barbie & Ken toy.
That looks great But the engineer in me can't see where the top is stowed. Even a soft top would be difficult to fit in the limited space available as per that image... if this ever gains traction at the factory the I suspect boot line would have to be raised... which would not be good look
same concept as the aventador roadster, 2 parts roof to be stored in the back of the car in this case, and it will work!
With YOUR traffic? Might just as well live in LA except you have to deal with Californians there. Rick
I hope they come up with a F12 SA of some sort. I really like the 550 Barchetta, 575 Superamerica and the 599SA and 599 45Superamerica. 12 cyl convertable--nothings better than that.
At this point it is pure speculation. But IMO it will happen because Front engine V-12 sales numbers always tend to fall in year 3 of production. So this would be a great way to keep sales numbers steady
