I decided this better to make a seperate thread, than insert to the more general Car design thread, or others underway.

This fits the creative arts because I'm including digital artwork detailing my edits/alterations to the LaFerrari design.

This thread is to post my own panels, a personal critique of the LaFerrari styling elements and my edits, and for any further intelligent styling discussion about these.

Also, it's seperate from the "Who designed LaFerrari" thread, where is focused on the individuals and comparison of LaFerrari to its other contemporaries.

Please see ^^ this link/thread for panels detailing comparison of the LaFerrari styling to the Enzo and P4/5, and makes good reading before viewing this thread.

    Enjoy :)

Well that is certainly a comprehensive analysis!
    Well done.

You realize that ultimately you're going to show corresponding views of the P4/5 along with LaF. :)

thanks John, just posting more when you replied ...these differ in not being a strictly objective analysis of LaF design, with my own feelings on the designs elements

oh yes, the LaF comparison to P4/5 rages on
did you see my comparison panels in the "who designed..." thread?
    here are those two panels:

    i did yes

    i think at some point,both cars LaF & P4/5 need a side by side comparison,with front,rear & plan views

    at a later date :)

I prefer your version. The choices you made to the nose to make it less pronounced and more integrated are very nice. The idea of the flexing front splitter and the multi wing is really cool. Well done.

thank you Skovbo, i'm glad you like it

lots of small changes, but i think the overall result works better in the front 3/4 view IMO

it takes me a little while to finish an illustration, i have 1-2 more yet to post

that's one thing the mclaren P1 has in it's favor, some swoopy and cool aero aids are plainly visible, the LaF should have as well

....for that price tag, i'd personally want to see that kind of cool stuff on my new Ferrari! :D

IMO....This Thread is the equivelent of Leonard nemoy putting spock ears on the Mona Lisa..

No matter what , the Original is the original, I am sure much deliberation was at work here by the creators......Anyone could lay claim that they are improving on already existing perfection , and gain notoriety..
    When in actuality...........................not

What do you suppose the creators would say about this.
