This pretty 5000 S was at Supercar Sunday today. Some dumb guy was making fun of it and telling people it was fake so I had to correct him. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hahaha nice plate. I've heard it on occasion also. Ok your at a car show surrounded by Lambos and someone has to ask.
My favorite type of Countach Bravo wheels and LP500 air scoop. How wide the rims can be? 11x15 "Jalpa" would work in the back? What wheels are on this red Countach? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those wheels are custom made 17" modular wheels made in Australia,to replicate a Bravo look, but accepting modern tires. David Fox, sitting on the sill and the previous owner of this car before Roy Cats restored it, had these wheels made up, as he was from Austraila himself.
I still have a full set of OEM Bravos if anyone is looking for a set...as well as 5000 QV wheels, a set..and misc Countach tiires from the day...the tires would all be for show as they are way past date code and not recomended for street use Roy
Not of this car, but, Irvine was quite the Countach-spotter and in 1982 he took images of this young man's fairly-new LP400S which was generously shared amongst friends. Note F1-style rear wing. 6 months later however, in the winter of 1982, this same Countach was looking slightly less than pristine... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its funny how quick people will call something a fake, I had that happen with my Little 308 GTBI I have a kid say it was a fake. whatever bro
Seriously? The directional cover is still intact? Who wudda thunk. In all seriousness, not that a wrecked Countach is nice BUT it is nice to see pictures of a wrecked Countach. We don't get to see them like that very aften. It's interesting to look at in that state........ because I found myself studying them.
IMO thats what is all about. People are happy to see a Countach, smiles ear to ear. When they muster up enough to ask if they sit in it, and you say sure, thier faces light up with excitement . Thats how I was before I had one. Its great.
Kind reminds me of that Joe Schmo to Lambo guy. Joe Schmo to Lambo That fool had his Lambo for LESS THAN 6 hours and wrecked it!
Hi all Countach fanatics! Here is a 1979 Countach, about which Stefano Pasini said it was tuned by Reparto Esperienze, sounding also so very different from a 'conventional' Countach... Please also note the special Campagnolos wheels. Any more pictures and info on this car would be highly appreciated! Ciao! Marcello Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very interesting........ I was doing some surfing tonight and stumbled on this. Has anyone heard about this product, or used it? I had never heard of it until tonight. I wonder how much they charge for either. Can't be any worse tha the $8000+ Lambo wants for OEM. 2 versions: Triple disc Product Twin disc: http://www.osgiken.net/products.php?product=trseries Mike
@Joe (or anyone that knows) You've had a few early cars. I have a guy that's going to properly tune my 5000s next week and wants me to pick up a set of spark plugs so we can get on it and get it over with in a day. What would you suggest I use since I can't seem to find the Bosch 250 P21 locally. I suppose I can get someone on the net to ship me some but that might delay my appointment and I honestly don't want to piss off the guy that's going to tune my ride. Mine has the 250's currently and I would like to stick with them as I'm running 102-108 octane 99% of the time. I'm also going to test (for the heck of it) running it on 93 octane at least once on the 250's just to see if its true that it may knock at a lower octane. I just hate putting ethanol in anything I drive that's why my daily driver is a diesel!
