    I remember these (Vandervell T48) crank thrust bearings interchanging with XKE, but the XKE parts I'm seeing for sale don't have the little "Y" locator handle on one half.

    Comments please?

    Thanks. I'll look at that idea, although I don't see MIE cross-referencing the models. Why the Maserati parts are $40 per half (need 4) when a full set for an XKE or MBZ is $15 still escapes me...since it's the same part.

    Look at the part numbers. They're the same. I got a set about a year and a half ago and had this exact discussion with Stuart. They're a lot less expensive at Eurospares, so point that out to them.
