I actually prefer the earlier version, QV5000. The anniversary had too many slats and add ons, side skirts etc that somewhat blemished the lines. The LP 400 is the purist choice, QV 5000 is the limit I can accept to the add ons.

    Hi guys,

anyone tried the 430 scuderia before ?

I might have a chance to swap my 09' 430 for a 09' 430 scud of course top up on my side... I still thinking if I should do it... no.of owners and mileage is almost similiar to mine... only difference is my omv is 280k while the scud's 240k...

or should I just keep and wait for 458 prices to come down :D

the scud is a good car ... but as with everything, technology sets the bar higher and higher each time ...

the 458 is a whole different animal compared to the scud ...

guys with scuds care to comment ?

If me I'd take the challenge, put more power into it...and then just drive it like any other ferrari and wait for 458 prices to come down :D
It still depend on individual, most important is you are the one who owned it and you must feel comfortable with it as well as you like the model.

Depends on the difference to top up. If under $50k then go for it. Honestly, if the car is for local drives you won't utilize even 50% of the potential legally. Then spend about $20k & less the Scuderise it like 430addict :)

There's no repair needed, just tuning & fluids flush then off it goes to factory visit! Haha but seriously, the carnet application delay will screw up my plan now.

Countach and Diablo are a beauty to look at. Unfortunately they are crap to drive.

Good luck on the euro lambo drive.

    @PSP1000

Hmmm after much discussion with my friends... think most likely wont go for the swap anymore because most of the time I would drive in Sgpore and they were saying the drop in comfort level due to weight savings its alot to sacrifice just for the updated looks as I won't need the handling improvements in Sg roads...

Was told to change to an aftermarket exhaust for less than $10k instead of paying almost $100k to swap for the Scud :D

    Guess 458 or mp4-12c next ....

Haha absolutely agree Chris. I booked a 550 Spyder for the tour then figured might as well buy one. Still on the fence with this as the Spyder will make life a lot easier, faster & more enjoyable. The Countach will need some serious driving muscles to handle it = no time for scenery & provided the old gals don't breakdown!!

But of late journalists have discovered that late Countachs are actually very nice to drive. Not sure if they're helping to raise the values :D

.. first thing that came to my mind. where are u planning to keep the car bro? Or you have a place of your own there?

I did plan to buy a car in UK so that when I visit, I can drive around. I go over quite often. But I don't own a place there. So... yeah.

    Bro,
Ask Rhommel to custom you a new software for your F430 and it should be just as quick as te scud!

If you can wait, get the 458! It's a real performer and looker :)

Good taste. Love the 670 too. Driving the F430, I would happily trade it in for a Scud any day. Not a fan of the 458.

Waiting for the day where it falls below RM1m.

670 remains as a dream and motivation for now.

Although I'm not sure I will buy a 670 when the time really comes. LOL!
