Hey all, As you know the Ga. Chapter of the FCA will have the 599 next week. We have two great events - Bob Varsha on wed night at the dealership, and Ted Rutlands on Saturday for one of his great cookouts! - Thanks Mitch!!!! Now FCA National has arrainged an other one for the following Monday March 25 for the hand off to the AL chapter. FCA has arrainged for us to visit the Pirelli factory in Rome Ga. the 599 will be getting a tire change, and we get a tour of the factory, lunch and photo opportunity to be in the Prancing Horse.... but I need help with getting some turn out... Ok I know its a Monday... and its Rome Ga... but could really be a nice trip, and Pirelli have been very kind in offering hospitality to us! So I'm looking for 3-6 Ferrari's to accompany the F599 - we can do rides etc... We have to be at the factory by 11AM and figure all over by 2.... could be a great time to use some PTO or call in sick! PM me if you are interested and I'll send you all the details.
Pretty sure I can bring out the old V12. Send me the information of when you leave and where from, etc. John
tell you what ... happy to have you particiapte ... think of it as an Introduction to the FCA. hope you are going to attend the Bob Varsha night and Ted's cook out... as well! both are open to all .
John - thanks, looking forward to it. If you have someone riding with you that can drive your car - the 599 will be open for passengers....
No guarantees as I just saw this, BUT, I do have Monday off. It would be a bit of a trek from Savannah, but I can talk to my wife about it later tonight. I have to pick my daughter up on Saturday, so I would have her with me...might make for a fun trip. My wife also might have alternate plans for me on Monday... I keep trying to find a good excuse to drive my Ferrari up to and around Atlanta... PDG

Total Wine is in the Barrett Pavilion shopping center, whose anchor store is Target. From I-75, go west on Barrett Parkway past Cobb Place Blvd and then turn right into the shopping center. From I-575, go west on Barrett until past I-75 and do likewise.
For anyone coming from Ferrari of Atlanta, turn left on GA-9, turn right on (Nigel?) Mansell Road and then right on GA-92 (Crossville Road). Follow GA-92 to Woodstock (about 12 miles), then take I-575 south to Barrett Parkway, and follow the instructions above. (No, I don't know who Mansell Road is named for, but I'm pretty sure that it's not "our Nige".)
Tom, if it's ok, I'd like to come down from Chattanooga in my 599. It's easiest for me to go directly to Pirelli and be there around 10-11. Ed
Sure - we'll be there by 11. glad to have you. David will not however be getting the car until later on Monday evening....
