if anyone wondered how it sound like after the remote valve system is installed heres a short video on it... the sound is alot louder than the video which I think my iphone could'nt capture...

Will probably do a better start-up video + few runs when I have more time....

riva makes beautiful boats ... but some of their designs - like this open top - are not suited for our weather ... no place to hide from the scorching sun or sudden downpour ...

if u register her locally, 7% gst ... or register elsewhere ... no issues ... as yet ...

Oh yes! Now that you reminded me about the weather here. Looks like it's better suited to European lakes. Would be awesome to use her in Lake Garda or some Swiss ponds Saw several of these classics in St Tropez/Marsielle in my younger days & fell in love with them.

Hey MP, let's talk about boats. Since there seems to be no regulations regarding safety like cars do. So, theoretically, we can fit a 599 V12 or 430 V8 engines into them yeah?

Buy a used boat then shop for a used Ferrari engine which is quite cheap & fit them together then hear it roar

They have been done this before & Lambo also supplied marine engines for F1 & won couple of trophies.

 

Yes, please post more but the crap Hp usually picks up a lot of unwanted noise. Maybe u can plug in a mic then wrap it with some tissue or sponge?

Once a car is running on open valves, it's far louder especially on cold start ups. Annoys the neighbour though

seriously not worth the effort. marine engines are whole different beast if you want reliability and reasonable maintenance

 

anything is possible ... but that doesn't mean one shld do it ...

if you want a sports car engine in a boat then drop in a factory crate ls7 vette engine, much cheaper to accomplish and still good for serious hp.
