Now I can show the photos.
In 1971 after the crash at Watkins Glen, the sides of 1044 had been switched by this aluminium sheet. So at Casale in septembre 1974, all stickers had been removed and the sides panels resprayed in red, but why for this race and not at the end of the saison? Or the 512M with number 2 on the last photo is another chassis ?

No, it is NOT a different chassis: N°1044 had prior to the Watkins Glen crash in 1971 the 'standard' eliptical air intakes to cool the fuel pumps (see Brands Hatch 1971 photo). Following the crash the car was quickly repaired in the US. On the right (driver) side no fuel pump air intakes were installed (1972 Nürburgring photo). On the left side, the undamaged air eliptical intakes remained.
Following the Nürburgring crash in 1972 the car was completely rebuilt with new circular air intakes. (See your photos of 73 and 74, and my attachment of the newly completed car in 1973.
The car was extensively raced by Müller in 10 events during 1973 with 8 first places, one second and one DNS. Following a mishap the upper alu sheet was replaced (again), with the circular hole staying intakt.
For the 1974 season N°1044 was loaned to Müller's old friend and former co-driver Cox Kocher. For this all Herbert Müller Racing decals were removed.
And finally, at that time there were no other 512 M cars left in the Müller stable.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for your explanation. The sponsor OVOVO is specific for Casoni. Do you think Casoni rent 1044 for this race the 22 september 1974 at Casale ?

Not a 712, but rather one of two 512Fs (F for Filipinetti). Still a beast indeed :)

    #1010.....Uh oh.

Ferrari built or modified a total of 4 cars for CanAm racing.

    #0858 350 CanAm - modified P4
    Being rebodied to P4 configuration
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4-sponsored-redline-restorations/381798-david-piper-restores-talacreast-p4.html

    #0860 350 CanAm - modified P4
    Previously rebodied to P4 configuration

    #0866 612 CanAm

    #1010 712 CanAm - modified 512S to 512M to 712
Based on these photos, has been returned to its interim 512M configuration.

There has been no discussion on the apparent loss of the 712. It would appear that of the four CanAm cars that have existed, only one remains.

Fortunately not. The 512M in your picture is a replica, wearing s/n 1038R.

Thank you! It was labeled as 1010, which meant that the 712 was no more. I am relieved to learn that it still exists. :)
