Yes, I read it. Finally, they are cracking down on the bicyclists that dominate the road in packs and fail to yield to cars.

Happily the story does not mention cars, just packs of motorcycles and bicycles and solo crashes, which I interpret as individual riders losing control. But if there's a CHP crackdown on group rides, I would expect the officers will also be on the lookout for groups of cars too.

 

Sunday morning riders. Emphasis on roads between Tam Junction and Point Reyes. Oh, and Lucas Valley Road. Enjoy your Saturday! Seriously, I applaud the action. My biggest fear is coming around a corner and meeting up with a motorcycle or bicycle on my side of the road and not even having enough time to say, "oh @#$%!"

 

Thanks. BTW, it was a good run to Pt. Reyes this morning. And loads of cyclists westbound as we returned, so our timing was great.

 

Very light on bikers this AM. Lucas to Nicasio to pt Reyes. No heat. Fine AM!

The One Lap started after 9AM from Sausalito, there were already lots of bicyclists when we got to the back roads. At times, holding up over 6-8 cars. Saw a couple of FOG brothers passing Pt. Reyes Station...

Well Lemons is officially over -- mechanical issues wreaked havoc for Team V and Team V2, but it sure was a hoot. I think there has been enough interest shown at this point that with a little advanced planning we may well have enough for five FOG Lemons teams next time around.
