I had wanted Dinopant, but that name was taken.
At some point I communicated with the guy who had the Dinopant name, and it turned out his name was Dino and he wanted a Pantera.

Jim- What happened to your engine cover on your Dino? Something unusual under there?

PantDino - My Dino shares garage space with a Pantera, too. Love Grabber Blue!! Had a Mangusta, too. Hated the way it drove and used it as partial payment for the Dino. Variety in the garage is entertaining and none of my cars seem to go together. However, each provides a very different, but enjoyable driving experience. Love your cars!

My '90 water-cooled boxer Vanagon Carat is the perfect pragmatic compliment to a Dino. No machine is more fun and more useable (except one with a Porsche flat-6 conversion). Holds 7 people in comfort. Ultimate people-mover! 50-50 weight balance. Handles like a sports car! Had it since new.

    I agree..
Owned a Dino in the early 1980's. Very nimble little car. Now I'm honored to own a Miura for almost 10 years now. A very nimble car to drive too with the rack and pinion steering. Different than the dino though, But no way like a truck. Tremendous power curve. When everything is right they just keep on pulling hard. One has to respect the brakes on these cars however. As for the Dino... Sure would like to have another one. Great cars.

The car was converted to a Stratos intake manifold and carbs (IDF as opposed to DCNF) in Italy before it was imported here in about 1975.

Advantages are better atomization of fuel, more tunability, no loss of power in sustained turns. The system is too tall to clear the stock engine cover so this fiberglass copy was made to sit above it.

I love the sound of the intakes behind my head.

I have the parts to convert it back to stock but can't imagine doing so-- prefer to have something a bit different.

I like Morgans too. (And Healeys)

I got this half-restored TR6 about 2 years ago and am still finishing it.

Got to have a classic Brit in the collection,no?

More on this special Dino here:

    Accel ignition system?
The spark plug wires kinda look like their trademark but I could be wrong as it is only a guess
