Which is worse?

Number 2. Don't know why it seems worse that Schumi's parking job, but I think it is. Vettel's discretion doesn't even compare to those two.

I think you're framing things the wrong way.

It should be "3. Vettel "accidentally" ignoring team orders."

 

I still don't have a problem with "2"

It was punishment for Hamilton doing a Vettel...disobeying the team.

 

Schumacher "parking" his car at La Racssse seems to me to be the worst of the 3.
It ruined everybody' s last few minutes of qualifs.
I don't know anyone who didn't find that a disgrace at the time.
I remember Jackie Stewart commentating, and he litteraly went "ape-****" live on TV!!!
They had to take the microphone away from him!
How Schumacher didn't get banned from participating at the Monaco GP, I don't know.

Vettel and Alonso only screwed their team mate. Not nice though ...

There was a team agreement that Hami would get the final run in Silverstone in front of the home crowds and Alonso would get that in Hungary.

It's like Webber clocking Vettel on the podium. Oh wait, he didn't do that. Too bad.

The thing that irritated me the most was MS lying about it afterwards when the telemetry already showed otherwise.

 

Damon Hill crashing into Schumachers Benetton in Silverstone 1995 and Monza 1995. Even if it was accidental, still don't understand why they let hem keep his superlicense. What an idiot.

 

Going into Brazil with Kimi leading the championship over Vettel by 18 points, no one at Red Bull (except Webber) is going to think Vettel should not have passed Webber. Why wasn't Hulkenberg penalized for an unsafe release? He lost Kimi the 2 points he would have gotten when Grosjean (would have) let him by.

 

They were all bad. Vettels was shocking, not because he did it, but his attitude; he didn't even act like he did anything wrong! (Big difference between the other two; who were lying, and knew what they were doing)
First when he was swerving as he crossed the finish line; celebrating like he won the title. Then the podium; that was monumental how bad his answers were.

I have never seen a driver blatantly undermine a team boss like that.
A former McLaren mechanic (not Matchett) said today that in 2007 this is why they lost the title; both garages started hating each other; huge divisions in the team.

Personally I don't want to see Vettel ever at Ferrari.
They can win without him

 

Alonso blowing the whistle on Dennis was pretty good. As was Piquet Jr. outing Flav.

I'm hoping the chasm will split the ****ing cans in half. It would be lovely to watch that.

Since Sepang I want him even more at Ferrari. He showed that he has the Machiavellian side if required. Just like Senna, Prost, Schumacher or Alonso. A necessary prerequisite to go far in this sport.

Imagine Alonso AND Vettel in the same team. It would be Senna/Prost all over again. Where's my popcorn?

 

I can only see Vettel at Ferrari if Alonso leaves or retires.

And then, Vettel would probably be Number One driver, and writing the script at the Scuderia like Schumacher did.

But it's not always a good move to recruit a World Champion; sometimes, a home-grown driver is preferable.
The future will tell if Alonso wins another title for Ferrari, like Schumacher did.

 

Well the Alonso piquet deal happned in court; not during a race.

Vettel/Allonso would never work. They would literally kill someone. The Prost/Senna wars didnt exactly end with a winner on either side.
The other problem lies with these two words; helmut marko. Vettel ain't go anywhere without that one-eyed emotionless Austrian with him.
Marko trying to influence anyone at Maranello is not going to work.

Right now Vettel is a talented child that has the best car (& situation) for years now.
Personally I hope Webber wins it. Even Dietrich texted Webber and said he was not amused by Vettels actions
Too bad the next race is in 3 weeks

 

I've got a movie theater popcorn machine, there will be plenty for everybody.

I always thought about getting one of those for my home theatre.

 

You get Vettel & Alonso on the same team you'll need a whole movie theater to go along with it.
Not even La Scala is ready for that much drama....

 

The popcorn machine is worth it, IMO. I love me a good bowl of popcorn.

Webber is crying like a baby he got passed, so what? Vettel's 3 time world champion in a row and not for nothing. Webber don't follow team orders next time and just smoke him.

And Bernie telling everyone Hamilton wanted to go the RB. Totally obviously the old man wants to create some spice.

The worst is that this is such an obvious thread for a poll and there's no poll.

Anyway, the most egregious error here was Schumi in Monaco. I lost a lot more respect for him that day than from the actions of Alonso and Vettel combined.
