Received an interesting little promotional package on my doorstep today. Package is addressed from Porsche NA, inside is a heavy black trifold folder. Open it up and there is a letter introducing me to my "personal 918 Client Relationship Manager", a 65 page 918 Spyder information book and configuration guide, and a little pamphlet about the 918 Spyder "VIP Program". Apparently Porsche NA is promising first dibs on future Porsche special editions for the next 10 years to original 918 Spyder owners, as well as access to exclusive events. I was on the "list" at my dealer for the "Carrera GT successor", whenever it came out. When I learned the price of the 918 Spyder, I declined. Apparently I'm still on the tchotchkes list though.
