What All American Racers does nowadays? Is it a car restoration business?

The bike project Alligator doesn't seem to have been very successful, and AAR withdrew from competition years ago - after the Toyota-Eagle GTP, I believe.

Where did you see that - they did not - as noted on the link Clive Chapman's Classic Team Lotus did it

They aren't restoring, they are conserving. There's a difference.

they had a hand in the Delta Wing project, and believe it or not do a lot of defense work, mostly designing/building drones. Swift Engineering does a lot of the same.

    Hummm, interesting.

I don't know why AAR got out of racing.

First, they stop building Indy cars when they were providing most of the field at one point, and them they left altogether when the Toyota project shut down.

    Any reason?

Which is, I suspect, the fact that they do not have the LeMans winning powerplant.

Still, this is mega cool. Instead of somebody trying to buy creditability by throwing dollars at a car, you have people who have been there and done that.
