Decided to have Ron Reineke take on my baby for her major and boy did he do a fantastic job! plugs, filters, fluids, timing belt, accessory belts, HE tensioners, cam shaft seals, adjused valve clearance, welded fences, new clutch, repacked flywheeland surface, installed the silicone hose kit (from Ricambi), installed two new Fabspeed cats, replaced the trans main seal, shift rod seal, trans front cover seal, cv boots (pegasus racing), new thermostat, ........etc. etc. While I was at it, had the airbox, valve covers, and oil reservoir powder coated (red crinkle for the valve covers, black crinkle for the airbox and oil reservoir) Ordered the HE pedals and gauge rings from Ricambi (look great), had the seats redone, 355 wheels refurbished, and the upholsterer has the upper door panels Left and Right to finish up. She is like a brand new car. Much thanks to Ricambi America, T Rutlands, Pegasus Racing, Ron Reineke, FerrariChat and the stooges for making 348 ownership a real pleasure. Ron provided the leakdown test results with #1-0%, #2-0%, #3-0%, #4-0%, #5-0%, #6-3%, #7-4%, #8-4%. I'll post pictures next.

When I finally go ahold of the dealer and heard that they don't change out the tensioners unless they think they are bad, then talked to a shop mear me that claimed experience servicing Ferrari and after a few minutes realized he was definitely not familiar, then I talked to Ron and immediately realized I was in good hands. He knew about the fences, the flywheel, tensioners, etc, etc. I'm very happy with the results!
Mike Your car is stunning. You've just been through exactly the same extent of service as me. The trouble is the more you do the more you see to do until the bank manager (wife) tells you to stop spending money!
