I may have seen that Daytona convertible going down the DNT a week ago.
    I saw something at least.

I'm thinking it's a good reason for a gathering. Lots of cars worth seeing.

From what I've been told the collection was housed in a aircraft hanger near Norwoods. I've seen the Daytona Spider driving around Love Field, can't wait to get a chance to see them up close. Very interesting that the showing will be in the Panther City not far from me on April 26th.

It's kind of a pricey deal...

Great collection. Pricing on the '80's F-Cars is a bit optimistic, though.

I'll be there. I'm already registered. Jimpo, if I nab anything, it's going to have to stay in your garage until I find suitable transport back to Colorado. Warn the wife!

    It's $80 for two people though :(
BUT there are some very cool cars.
    Maybe...

I don't know if RM does this but I've been at other auctions where they have jacked the price up at the door or straight up denied access to anyone who is not a registered bidder. I assume it's to make sure that the registered bidders have a chance to properly preview the cars without its being overly crowded. $80 is relatively cheap.

I guess. 40/person isn't too bad. I assume that's how it works. In perspective, you're right. It's a small price to pay to see some fantastic cars. After posting, I took a closer look at the list and decided it was worth it.

What do you have your eye on?

$80 sounds a bit high to look at cars, but I get why they're doing it. Don't want a bunch of gawkers at a collection like that. I also just realized that I have a wedding that Sat night, so that throws a wrench into any potential viewing of the auction. Damn.

Ryan, I can make storage room for a new toy if you find one. Or I'll help you drive it home! We could also probably find space at Brians. He says he has no room but he ALWAYS has space for one more. :) We could also hit up Greg, but you probably don't want your car covered in sawdust! :D

That full catalog arrived yesterday and RM called to give me some more specific info on some of the cars that I had requested.

All I'm going to say is this: this is going to be good.
