Figure to depart around 8:30ish? The ish is based on waiting for stragglers and last second scrambles to the mens room.



Side note: Taking ownership (I hope based on PPI) Tuesday of a '66 Sunbeam Alpine...current owner does not suggest driving it over 65 mph for sustained periods...thus, not making to the Spring Drive, but need to get a picture of it next to a certain Elan...

 

Given that I am close to halfway between C&C and the starting point, I'll probably just head down. Ordered new wheels and tires today so I can bring the BRZ.

I'll consider it if and when the 4 cylinder blows. Hesitant since numbers match which I understand is rare for a somewhat rare car (it seems most are rotting in a barn or field somewhere).

Drive side door sills concern me (see pic)...we'll see what's what once it's up on the lift.

I recall a blue one at Greenville. Was that an Alpine or Tiger?

Where did you buy it? My ex father inlaw had two of them, which he sold a few years back. One was a driver, the other was essentially a parts car.

 

Colmar, Pa. Local Craigslist find. Figured it's a good project to learn how to wrench on something and not cause all that much damage (to the car and to the marriage).

I will be using that as well. So, The Joes, me, and who else is on the cowsh** bypass road? Not that I have anything against cowsh**, but last time, I was still finding that stufff in my wheelwells for weeks after!
