What plates are those?

It appears to be registered in Texas, but the plates aren't Texas.

 

Looks like Pennsylvania plates.

 

As suggested, the car is Pennsylvania-registered, and the image was taken at Miller Motorcars in Connecticut.

This is not the ex-Jim Spiro F50.

Hmm....so Pennsylvania tags are in the window and similar to Texas? Or the car was at one point in Texas and those stickers not removed at time of photo?

 

Is this the ex-Hamtons car? I saw a black F50 parked in East Hampton a few years back

Very likely. These cars are easily transportable. Here it is seen variously on summer breaks in California.

A little investigating proves this to be the case. The State of Texas is clearly there. Perhaps the blue-bordered sticker is the current one for Pennsylvania.

They appear to both be Texas.

We have two stickers we have to place on our windshields. One for Registration and one for inspection/Emissions. The blue one is the registration. The other is the inspection/emissions.

 

I know of more than a few Supercars registered in one state, but spending time in various other states.

 

I'm sure of it. Perhaps that's why the registration is current but not the emission. Obviously no big deal. I thought it was interesting to see the Texas tags.

 

Brian Redman International Challenge- I pretty much have those same pics! One of the F50's did touring with us.

 

The copley F50 is sold. Asking was 1.395.000.

 

The asking price was 1.295MM.

 

Although it doesn't help in my quest to own one, it pleases me greatly to see F50 prices on the rise.

Indeed, such an iconic car whose time has finally come. It pleases one of my clients as well, he has 3 USA cars, the only person in existence I'm aware of who has that number. His premise is, one can never get enough of a good thing.
