A McLaren owner requested McLaren to install this in his car He paid around pounds 20K to have this done by MSO. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What is that?! Looks like a speed camera! Haha. Why would anyone do that. If its data logging I would just use a racelogic vbox.
MAS lifts current curbs on loans for some used cars for period of 60 days 60 day period for used car dealers to clear inventory. buyers can take 100% loan. I think brand new car salesmen can go on a two month holiday. after two months, entities not regulated by MAS will also have to comply with new rules.
morons at work. love how they flip flop on policies without properly thinking thru their knee jerk actions. if you cant make it in the real world you join the gov't. how true.
you're absolutely right. one can always move away. and that's the exact attitude this current govt maintains toward non-singaporeans. but i'm unlike the shy majority that accepts questionable policies without voicing my opinions.
Well, everyone can have their own opinions And it's not only to foreigners, it's also to the locals ... Anyway , enjoy your weekend , Life is too short to be angry or frustrated
Yes quite true. Unfortunately not all have that option. The lower income cant just pack up and go and find another job in another country.
Raising issues with questionable policies and voicing opinions is one thing. Making sweeping generalized statements about people working in government and the government's attitude towards Singaporeans is another. The former is helpful, especially if the criticism is constructive. The latter, well ... is a voter's God given right I suppose ...
the comments were merely based on questionable policies put forth by this administration that makes no commercial sense. No effective CEO would come out with policies like that. I be interested to see the career CV of the individuals making these decisions. I would bet they are career civil servants that rose up thru the ranks and now somehow they qualifiy to make decisons that severly impact multiple industries. How does a govt issue a policy and then two weeks later retract it, obviously that signisifes they made a large mistake and now need to band aid fix it. That are not qualities of an effective govt. The citizens derserve proper planning with clarity of what lies ahead. This uncertainty spooks markets and consumer sentiments bcause they do not know what the govt will do next and hence adopt a wait and see attitude. This govt is effectively engineering a recession for SG in its recent actions. You all can sit quite but it will eventually impact your lives.
and how does it impact us as ferrari enthusiast? overnight, it makes it cost an extra $250k to buy a new 458.
good morning asianbond! if you were still in hk your comments would be 20x more scathing. at least many of the singapore government officials are well-intentioned and well-educated. that is more than most countries can say
Yes the Lower income can't pack up and go. True statement, but his remarks is not structured for the poor people! I am no where rich and I support the Government. Unpopular to majority but I believe the Government is just trying to protects itself and its citizens. Maybe it's just me, I am a supporter of Bush
It's in our National pledge, "to build a democratic society based on justice and equality" We're all born equal so every vote counts
That bush wrecker? Oh c'mon if they were to mind their own business & stop being so greedy, the world would be a more peaceful place to live in. Dude, when you're free. Please take a breather, take one step back, think from above rather than macro level & you'll see how the policies of last 5 years have changed our livelihood that will impact the generations to come for the worse. Housing is beyond the means of an average joe now & even if the couple can afford it, they'll be debt ridden till retirement. The govt controls the supply & demand. Business is super anti-entrepreneur now, notice how they stopped using this word anymore? It's nearly impossible to start a new business now not to mention sustaining it. Costs, red tapes & employment issues. In the end, only the larger corprations can manage & swallow up everything to become bigger. This mutes creativity & vibrancy in a colourful society. I don't complain much about the car duty issues because we have been one of the most taxed nation on the map so what is that 50-80% more? It's the slut in us to own the latest toy that spoils us & of course engineered by the govt with the 10yr once COE to buy a life or expire. The results of coe is of course engineered by industry players rather than you & me. In the end, I'm worried for the young. You cannot start a business with couple of ex classmates like before, that little bright idea on tissue looks better in a bin. You cannot afford to get married & have a home so how to have babies?
Fark that 458 here. King showed us that it costs as little as S$360,000 to have a new 458 in Tokyo while the F12 is "only" S$400K. If I can afford either, I'd rather save that S$1mil to build a school in Indonesia & call it Sekolah Jon or multipes 1st class tickets to land of rising Sun to drive your horse & have kawaii passengers ^^
Dear Jon, Yes I am a supporter of Bush and his policies and what he did was a must. How they handled the situation was questionable . If Afghanistan and Iraq were not "liberated" it would actually have a negative impact to the world. After 911, US had to show its might and it has to show its not a country that can be bullied and on its own soil! If they did not act, it would have been worse. I was in Kabul and also in Basra and Pristina during my work and I have seen how The Americans have helped so much . Anyway, that's not important to the general public, they believe what they read. I seen so many homeless and elderly people here in Sgp sleeping under bridges and around funan center where your shop is. It's saddening to see this. I really hope the government would help the poor and homeless. Most Sgp love to complain and they want their houses to be x amount and want this and that. We have no resources and our talent is what we need and you have to be competitive to excel Housing is an issue and I support your views on that Yes you can get married and have a home, but you gonna be working like the Japanese, What I am stating to the poster was, why complain.. If he is not happy.. And from his post, he deff has more money than me by 1000 times or more and can Go anywhere he wants . For business, it's a good place but not for small business unfortunately . You can't blame the government for that, entrepreneur can find ways to make money no matter how hard it is. That's my arguement, flawed as it may be , but you got to excuse me for my grammar mistakes as I am posting from an iPhone. No offense to anyone , just my opinions... Like everyone here... I have one too I tried to get funding for some project from the GOVERNMENT, and it was turned down because I was no one, and even after this I am not bitter with them. I jut hope workers party without The deceased JB never gets into power in my life time
Every one is entitled to their opinion. I am with Jon and am very concern with some of the policies the govt has made in recent years. Though the current govt has done a lot for the country, it's slow to change with the times. It governs a country like a "old school" father manages his kids : "father knows best" In this day and time we all know this does not work anymore. We are at a political cross roads. For the sake of the country and the next generation, i hope Singapore moves in the right direction.
I have heard of sideplants etc, and exhaust systems with bypass valve flaps..... but this one I feel has a stark difference between silent and loud. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bFlvFffzgQ]Power Craft Maserati Quattroporte Hybrid Exhaust System - YouTube[/ame] It switches between two modes and the difference is rather huge.
