1973 Countach LP400 Periscopio... One word.... WOW. Since I was a kid I always thought the periscope was actually functional. Valentino took to the time to explain that it was mainly for cosmetic. Image Unavailable, Please Login

The way it was in 1984 is the way it's going to stay. The car looks beautiful the way it is. It gives the car that unique look, and IMHO they look much better than the telephone OZ rims no matter what the purists think. The next time my son's car comes up for sale will probably be 60 years from now, even then if life treats my son well chances are he's going to give it to his children so the car will be in the family when the car is 100 years old. I'm just here to pass on the torch.
Dear Countach experts, can anybody tell me what documents came with the delivery of a Countach 5000s (year 1984) from the factory to the first owner? Any pouch? Warranty card and Manual for sure, anything else? Dealership directory or Spare Parts booklet? Pictures appreatiated. Many thanks. Regards Matthias
Found some old Bertone press photographs of the Countach in a box of goodies at home, I think they are beautiful! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Definitely, it's 1120001 in it's existance in red, in 1972 before it got resprayed to green like it is still nowadays.

Thanks Peter. I'm making one out of carbon fiber (playing around with some left over stuff from my boat) and hanging the original on the wall in my son's room. I had him also sign my hood. = ) But he signed it upside down. lol
My eyes are almost getting as good as Joe's. Take a look at the headliner. Such a perfect car they should address that issue. Image Unavailable, Please Login
