So how many import 360's are advertised as km when really is miles?

65,000 miles sounds a lot more saleable than 105,000km's doesn't it.

    Buyer beware !

so they basically peel off the Miles tag and put Kms on it without actually changing the actuators that counts the distance?

maybe need to google map the test drive route distance and compare during test drive :D

but if one can pick up a reasonably used (100,000kms for a 10 year old car is reasonable) properly serviced for $80k, I'd jump on it

And if it wasn't properly disclosed it would be same as winding back the speedo.
    Serious implications for the seller.

so if i buy from a dealership, and they claim the car is 60,000kms, and 2 weeks later i can prove the odometer is in fact working in miles, i could have a fraud case against the dealership?

Is there such a thing as a C63 black? I just saw a red C63 with flared guards and a big wing. Looked pretty hot, actually. Rego was C63 BLK

Yes,as was my point with all this is(and as PP has also, sort of,intimated),if you find a legit car with BOOKS(as was posted)and tools,PPI'd with lower milage than the rest, then it would APPEAR to have been a reasonable deal,in the auction.

A mechanic who I wouldn't touch with a barge pole used to say it was his duty to drive customers' cars hard, as part of his normal testing procedure.

Here's a reason why I didn't agree with that theory.

To look at ... their place is as static displays in shows and museums, they were never designed (or finished practical development) as real road cars.

I disagree, Ferraris have much more engineering attention paid to make them usable, e.g. you can easily drive a 275 or Daytona from Sydney to Melbourne and, by the standards of 1970's, in quite reasonable comfort.

A Miura (or a Countach) is wonderful to look at, but you would never contemplate driving one any distance, they are too uncomfortable and too much hard work, because they were underdeveloped.
