Wondering if someone has a good shop that will resolve this issue for me. I considered sending them out to be fixed but I don't know how to remove all of the buttons and panels and I don't want to deal with taking it someone and having them remove the parts, then mailing them out, etc...

Does anyone here know a good shop? This has gotten beyond irritating. I'd like to just bring the car somewhere and have it resolved without having to spend a thousand dollars.

Willing to bet that Bradan could take care of it for you, though not sure of the pricing. Not exactly in NJ but not far away either.

I also did the DIY route on my 348. It's not as hard as you might think. DIY is your own labor plus ~$75 in materials.

I documented materials and procedure that I used in the following thread:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355/314469-yet-another-sticky-parts-thread.html

If you wanted to replicate the soft touch feeling, you could then coat with soft touch coating from Alsa, Alsa Corp | Soft Feeling Paint. But this would get pricey between cost of materials and finding someone who could shoot it properly for you. Also, I haven't found anyone that can attest to its longevity in an auto interior but since it's also designed to be an external coating, my sense is that it would last better than the crap that Ferrari uses.

If you do go the DIY route, just take your time when removing parts. Not sure about a 360 but some of the plastic bits on a 348 are fragile. There're some helpful tips on removing parts on Stickynomore's web site, Help - Sticky No More, but it's mostly geared towards 348s and 355s (there is a video on removing vent trim rings for 360s).

Cool, please report back! I haven't decided if I'm up to taking the parts off my Quattroporte myself or not.

quick update. i went up to visit auto elite today. Had a chance to meet Mark and Vinnie. Really nice guys. I ended up leaving the car with them right there on the spot and while awaiting a ride to come get me I spent a good while talking cars with Mark. I and am hoping to pick it up as soon as next week with this sticky issue finally resolved!

They had an incredible shop so I had to share some pics. I will keep everyone updated on the car once I get it back.

holy hell dude you have incredible taste. I love all of those cars, and he did show me the dino because I was asking about it. My jaw dropped when I saw that color I never knew such a color existed on a Ferrari!

a 575 in a real stick is so rare too. It is one of my most favorite Ferraris of all time. I salute you sir haha.

Picked up my car yesterday morning. Incredible guys! Every single sticky part removed, cleaned and reinstalled. My biggest regret...waiting this long to have such an annoying thing corrected. I highly recommend auto elite theyre a great group of guys that do fantastic work. O and they even polished my shift knob which was really showing signs of age. I had no idea the knob was this shiny!

Looks great & thanks for posting the pictures! I have some wear on the power window buttons- not too bad yet, but at least now I know I can simply have Auto Elite do it when my car is in for service if it gets bad enough to bother me...
