I was wondering if any Mondials will be attending the FCA-MAR Spring Thaw at Reston Town Center this Saturday. I have been a lurker on here ever since I deciding to get a 3.2 Mondial as my first F-car. I missed an opportunity last year from a forum member but from reading on here, seems like patience and determination will persevere from other members' experiences. I have not seen any Mondial owner posting about the event and wanted to see if Mondials will be represented.

    Thanks!

Seems like a great event to attend. This Saturday will be 60f and sunny, I might be there. I'm not a FCA member so do I need to pay or is it free to attend?
Sounds like the luncheon is sold out but those with a Ferrari can just show up with their cars and be apart of the FCA's 50th Anniversary!

    Cheers

    Mike,

From what I read you do not have to pay to attend. Though registered members will have first choice parking. I think the fee covers the luncheon provided by Clydes. I was reading that thread and looks like a Bugatti may make an appearance as well. Suppose to be a bigger event from the past since it is their 50th anniversary.

Thanks, I'll try to stop by in the afternoon but I have a previous engagement at noon.
What year is your 3.2 ? Are you going to be there?

I will be there. I am still looking for my 3.2. I missed an opportunity to buy one around November of last year so I am still hunting.

Nice Dave, I regret I tried to make it but my parents were over for a cook out and today is my birthday so Patricia and the kids really treated me well!
However, this morning to my surprised, the Boxster was also delivered from NC. Been busy checking out the new toy most of the day!

The Ferrari event looks like great fun and what a gorgeous day today is!

    Cheers

    Happy birthday Mike,

The Porker looks really nice, can't wait to see your Wheeler Dealer magic on it.

    Have a great day.

Can't wait to see the progress and transformational change that will take place!
Also, completely forgot about the automatic rear spoiler on the Boxster, a pretty cool feature.
    Have a great Bday Mike.
    Cheers,
    Greg

    Mike,
Time to change out that UK flag for a German one now that the Morris Garages vehicle is gone!
    Cheers,

LoL, thanks Ted! You'll like the end result!

    Thanks Robogeeks, happy birthday today!
Lets see if the weather and everyone's schedule works out next week.

LoL, love the Union Jack Flag, its staying but I ordered a new Porsche Flag that will be hung soon!

    Cheers Fellas!

BTW, in this morning's staff meeting, the CEO finally mentioned how nice my Ferrari was and it should be in a museum and that he would be afraid to drive it to work! Also asked me when I'm taking him to lunch with it! He knew I was a Ferrari guy but first time got acknowledged in front of the whole company staff! Somewhat embarrassing but all in good fun and everyone here knows I'm a car guy! :)
