not the 'round' wheel arches, but the 'square'
    QV engine
    built in 1987

    and all above mentioned ...

Time for Vectorfiles to visit the Collexhi museum in Sant'Agata for some history lessons... :)

Or, simply read this thread from start-to-finish!

FWIW there are several well-known Wolf tribute cars in Japan.

But with that said, vectorfiles has provided some really good posts on Lambo.chat.

    So keep em coming.

I have almost all known pictures on my website, but I haven't seen a color picture of the engine bay yet where you can see some significant details.

Wow - this is great. All the Countachs advertised are listed with their VIN numbers. ANyone fancy investing some time in copying them into the thread - there is even a RHD Anniversary (goes into the "Ah! That's where that one went" file) with a UK number plate and I think a previously RHD one that is now LHD. There must be 10 anniversarys there.

I am pretty sure this is a former Kansas, Bobileff maintained car that appears to have been converted to euro gears once in Japan. The car has left over 10 years ago. If someone confirm the interior is still original tan then it is the car.

what i dont get is the 5,6km listed. I sure hope they are not claiming it to be 5,600kms if that is the car i think it is..

Sometimes in Japan they use 5.6 x 10,000 meaning 56,000km

What was the really power delivery average for the DD engine? Balboni said to be easily 470 hp out of these dyno engines... is it correct?

If the factory "breathed upon" the engine :), and sprinkled some Holy Water on it , then, yes.

F1 driver Pierluigi Martini (remember him?) owned such a car. It was, shall we say, quick. He could drive it too.

Speaking of sprinkling Holy Water on something? What's the value of LOH's clone SV?

It's on fleabay. I was thinking of throwing a 1/2 mil bid on it for the heck of it.

So what was the real power figure on the road for the DD? Around 420 hp?
