Isn't this from the Hartung collection auctioned off a couple years ago?
    I think it's very cool

I have no idea. I'm just commenting based upon how it looks.

This reminds me of the bastardized cars I used to see driving around Northern California especially in places like Berkeley or Santa Cruz. Cars with all kinds of stuff attached to them like sea shells, old sneakers and driftwood. Those weren't seriously trying to be a regular car. They were just kooky or avant garde if you like.

What's the reasoning behind this ugly POS, it's different?

    You and I aren't alike. ;)
The car I posted is the McLaren X1. Apparently built for a blind customer with more money than sense.

And the F50 is probably my favorite of the Ferrari supercars.

My mom drove one for years.

It's as bad a driving is it is at looking.

What's amazing is this actually was a Bond Car in "The Man with the Golden Gun".

I'm actually watching an Ambassador on eBay. On my watch list is a Rambler too. ;)

We also had an Ambassador and several Ramblers. My dad liked them because they were cheap.

I think they were cheap because the Big Three sold AMC left over parts they didn't need. :)

What's not to love? Something weird about me, I seem to be gong backwards in time, cars I once owned but couldn't afford to restore or some cars I always wanted but couldn't afford to buy, I'm collecting now. No matter how unapealing to others. Fortunately they are all cheap.

The interchangeable 3 winners have always been:

    Aztek
    Citroen
    Pacer

Gonna have to make room for the FF going forward....

F50 is a bad design IMO and a Ferrari failure to improve and modernize the wonderful F40. Definetly not ugly enough to be a thread called the ugliest of ugly.

Being seen in assless chaps must be less embarrassing than being seen in this car.

There are plenty uglier cars than those three but yah, Aztek is right up there.

    Which Citroen?
Some are quirky looking and a few are actually quite beautiful.
I think a 2VC could be kinda of neat to own for a while.

Now this article's title is absurd but I think the car is interesting.

    Now on to Pacers ...

I think this one has been done up pretty nicely. Looks to be in great shape too.
This would be cool to take to cars & Coffee events.
