they're beasts for sure, but better if they replace the original virage grill back IMO

My brother-in-law's early 1990's Ford Mustang has the same steering wheel...they should have installed a nicer steering wheel from the factory at this price point...

The DB7 was more like a Ford dipping into the Aston parts bin for a badge.

And yes, the Virage steering wheel of that era was rental car-level atrocious.

The early DB7 used basically the same, albeit with extra stiffening braces and altered rear inner wings, even the six cylinders engine managment system was Fords Zytec, but the whole chassis was heavily modified to fit the v12 in the vantage version. It also used entirely different suspension, diff etc. the LM600's were truly special though. Personally I prefer the look of the Virage style rear lights over the later quad round version.

This is a nice car, and still a true Aston Brit bulldog. After the beautiful V-8's, I never really warmed to the styling of the Virage-series, except the Volante.

DB7: If you strip all the Jaguar-content out, you're left with very little, at least with the 6 cylinder cars. That's not a bad thing if you want to own one and really drive it too.

    Best,

    Jack.

I just happened across it, cool vid to watch (though not very thrilling), but yes, it sure is very different from the production methods we see now! :)
