Hi all - it's been a long time since I posted but have been a member here for years. I am about to acquire a new "fun" car in which I don't have garage space for. Will most likely garage it over the Winter months. I live in Southern Westchester in the Scarsdale/Ardsley area. Does anyone have any recommendations of any car garages that will keep the car clean and healthy over the mid October -> mid April time frame?

I have a friend who has a place up in Mt. Kisco, NY. Is that too far away?

Thanks all. I'm heading up to Collectors Car Garage and Penske tomorrow to check out. One in Yorktown and the other in Bedford area.

    Thanks for the advice.

I've used the one in Bedford with good results. I also rented a private heated garage and stored another car there for a few months.

I may be looking for one soon in Yonkers, Bronxville, Tuckahoe, etc if you know of any.

I've had success locating garages w/ private residences that are detached from their home. A good source is Craigslist. Some unfiltered examples here:

westchester parking & storage classifieds - craigslist

I suspect another source nypennysaver.com and/or local newspapers can be another source.

Of course, it is like anything else, you need to screen and visit the garages/landlords and get your own comfort feeling. I know my insurance, was OK with the car(s) being away from my homes, but should check with your insurance carrier too.

For me, while searching the past for classic garage storage places, a turnoff to me is they move the cars around while in storage, my preference was to find a place to park/store the car, my preference is for it sit at my specific location.
