Hi & No I did not already crash the GT...(-* Desire to replace Drvrs side turn/Parking (Amber/Clear) lens as it has a crack and I desire to replace the lumpy front bumper - I looked at Eurospares and was seeking something closer/cheaper if feasible -

    Thanks for any insights,

Eurospares 'supposedly' shows the left lens in stock but my experience with them is they don't update their online inventory so I highly doubt they have it. I remember Lee Lance (with T Rutlands a while back) mentioning that they had repro lenses available but can't seem to find it on their site. They're a bear to separate from the housing from what I recall. Give them a call.

The ripples in the bumpers can be hammered out via drilling through the back section of the box tube from the rear, I believe the box tube is 14 ga. that's encapsulated with an elastomeric like material...so it's paintable if you want to go that route. If you have a ton of ripples, replacement might be your best bet. Call these guys.

The lenses or complete assemblies have been hard to get ( and expensive ) for years. After looking for 3 years I found a NOS set in Germany in 2007 and paid a small fortune for them.
Fortunately repros are now available at a reasonable price ( relative to what I paid anyway). The sources are Squadra Nuvolari ( lenses) and Eurospares ( compete assembly). No idea of quality or fit.

Thanks for the sources - I've been looking for a pair also. I was expecting to hear back on some Tuesday or yesterday, but nothin' yet.
Not even sure how to do just the lenses, but I'm hoping that I can go that direction.
Needing some clean bumpers, F&R, too, if the current set can't be corrected, if anybody knows of some......

I see that SN also has lenses for the Boxer to fit the otherwise perfect set I picked up a couple of years ago (packing goof).

I don't have a link, but I recall there was a post on the European Ferrari 400 Club website describing how to remove & polish the lenses. The website is in French, but using Google chrome and the auto translate feature it's readable.

Rear bumper 257-36-502-10 is available in stock from Ferrari UK (1000 pounds plus freight ), front bumper is 257-36-002-00 and 530 pounds and listed as none available - that may mean they need to order from Italy, or it may mean there are NLA.

At those prices I'd be looking at repairing the existing bumpers - these days there are all kinds of plastic fillers and plastic welding techniques to repair damaged plastic bumpers to "as good as new condition"

Thanks, Mike. The plastic is in pretty good shape, but it's the "other" shape that's wrong. The outside edges were ground to fit the openings so they wouldn't protrude more than they do. Several places are at/near the seal enough that I'm not sure the seals are all that sealed, but the edges aren't straight, anyway.
T.Rutlands just struck-out on the amber/clear units, so it looks like I may be having the Squadra Nuvolari lenses (thanks again for the link) fitted if the rest of each fixture is OK.

I'm hoping that the bumpers can be worked and saved, but it's good to have the backup(s).

I just noticed this, and would like to draw everyone's attention to this thread regarding La Scuderia Rossa.

Yeah they aren't high on the "good vendor" list.

I replaced the front and rear bumpers on my car a couple of years ago. Eurospares showed on-line that they were out of stock. When I called them I was told they had them and they shipped them the next day.

I bought the amber/clear lenses from Squadra Nuvolari and I had them install the new ones on my old units. Excellent work, good service and prompt return. All I had to do was reinstall the refurbished units.
    And they fit!

    Yes, I did.
After reading some posts here I thought it best to let a pro do the job.
Somewhere there is a thread about the process here but I can't locate it.
Unfortunately the computer with the photos is in dry dock for repairs. I'll post some photos next week unless I see that some sleuth has found the thread.
