Amazing they didn't get a contract! Must be Labor ... Well I really don't know what the problem is ... I myself would never own a GM/Holden product ... only exception would be a Formula Brabham ... so I assume lots of other people think ALL Holden's are rubbish too? Pete
I'm always amazed at how crap they are each time I pick up a hire car. Most noticeable things are wooden steering feel and over sensitive brakes
You're too use to that OHOS, at least the Holdon will stop ..... eventually But I agree, I drove a rental Commonwhore a while back and it felt strange ..... are we snobs ??
Example: One of my team bought a brand new Commodore about 2.5 years ago the list of faults so far are: 1. Emptying its sump of oil, so that it goes into limp mode. Apparently after the 2nd attempt at fixing this they replaced the cam cover gasket. Not sure if fixed or not ... 2. Some sensor in the exhaust keeps causing a warning light to go on and he was told that they have been having lots of this issue and do not know why. In most cases they have been replacing the whole exhaust system ?? 3. He had some weird noise in the wheel/suspension area and immediately took some time off work and took it to Holden, they could not find anything wrong at all. Noise has not reappeared, but apparently very loud. 4. His wipers stopped working ... Car has now done I think over 70,000 but less than 100,000 Kms. He drives it from Gosford to Sydney every work day, so should be easy motorway driving for it. So IMO they are very much still rubbish. Pete
Guys, forget the rest, this is the best. Unbelievable what BMW has done with this. 1600 straight six sounds fantastic too. K1600GTL Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Uses more fuel than a Prius. The Harley was actually more comfortable, unless there was a bump in the road. But handling and smoothness wise this is the best all rounder ever. Also, Google the xenon headlight it's got. Brilliant.
News of the day. It doesn't matter how good a motorbike is, 400-km is tiring when you're not used to it and you're old.
The Adaptive Xenon was brilliant. Only bike I know of that has it. The bike leans, the light stays horizontal. You'd probably have to be a rider to properly appreciate how good that is. Typical BMW LEDs too. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Stop complaining, you were riding a lounge on 2 wheels. Try it on a Ducati superbike and see how you pull up

I have done it. Phillip Island and back on a desmosedici. There was nothing but complaining that day!
