98 F355 6 speed silver spider. Runs like a scalded dog. Was never in the market for a Ferrari before. Was looking for a porsche 996. Don't really know what happened. Started watching them a couple yrs ago on auto trader and ebay when I noticed prices at auctions were reachable. Read the 355.com website. Saw this one advertised by Star Euopean in Los Angeles ( you can see it on their web site: lalacars.com, click on recently sold to Dublin Ohio). Noticed the major service was done a year ago. Got the invoice. Hand written on the invoice it says" one year warrenty". Called the shop. Nice Italian guy named Luciano picks up the phone. Tells me he's been working on Ferraris since 1960 all over the world and he knows what hes doing. His shop is in Sarasota. Pulls the invoice copy on my car. Says its a go. I went. Car came. Bo Fenner the guy that sold it to me was very helpful. Spent an hour with me on the phone going over everything including allot of time making sure I properly raised and lowered the top. What a blast. Suspect it is a lot more fun than a 996 Porsche. Not that I care about this but everyone you go buy points and says "that's a Ferrari"!
1 month owner of 1999 355 F1 Spider. A joy to drive after a bit of learning the F1 driving in the city. A beautiful car. Some sticky issues well on the way to recovery w/ the help of Robbie at Stickynomore. Top issues and I may go the completely manual route as some other veterans have done. Major in Phoenix in 2/12 with engine out service. Can't wait to get the top down 1999 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider 9,000 mi. 11330 Black/tan Image Unavailable, Please Login

I'm pretty sure this car used to live in DC about 10 years ago.. Assuming it's the same one, it's the car that made me decide I needed to have a 355. Absolutely love that color!
