Is there going to be a 2013 Hamptons Rally?

Hey if you want to join myself and a few nuddys were taking a morning cruise out there for lunch and getting back by 3 pm..myself, my buddy with a 430 and a lambo SV...

Hamptons Rally isn't a sponsor anymore so that's why you don't hear about it. If you go to HAMPTONS RALLY Home the details are there. Only thing it doesn't seem to open up to a regy page. I would like to attend as we'll.

 

How about the Exotics Expose that was held at Old Westbury Gardens last May? Haven't heard a a word about that one..

 

If you guys hear anything please forward info to me as well. I would like to join. I was at the event in 2011. I believe last years was cancelled?

I know. I checked the website and it looks like there haven't been any updates since last year. It was a great event that raised a lot of $$. I can't believe they wouldn't have it again...

 

I emailed Nathaniel and the organization several days ago and he has not responded.

 

I get a bad feeling about this.

Food for thought. If there is no Hampton Rally this year, who would be interested in doing our own Hampton Rally? We can all rally out to the Sag Harbor pier and get luch at B Smith's. Or if we want to avoid the Hamptons traffic, we can do a north fork rally and end at Pindar or one of the other Vinyards like the Run Out East did two years ago. That was a ton of fun. We can meet at a rest stop on the LIE as a staging area.

I know the area real well and there are many options. If we drive out to Montauk, we can all meet at Gosman's Dock as they have a big parking lot across the street. Outdoor dining overlooking the inlet to the harbor. If we feel Montauk is too far then options are Sag Harbor (B Smiths) or Amagansett (Lobster Roll, Cyril's Fish House or Clam Bar). Hopefully by then I will also be in my 360!

Gosman's Dock is the best bet then. The parking lot is huge which rarely fills up. Gosman's has an outdoor restaurant where you go up, order your food, and sit down at any available tables overlooking the harbor (watch out for seagulls!!!). It's a longer ride out to Montauk but there is nothing more scenic. We can take Old Montauk Highway which runs along the ocean and is very hilly and curvy. Perfect for a rally.

as one of the organizers of the Exotics Expose. I'd like to apologize for not updating the information on our site.
Last year's event outgrew the gardens abilities to host the visitors and we had hard time finding a venue with similar accommodations. BUT we are working very hard to lock down the location for 2014, and will be coming back with possibly a 3 day event.

FYI....I emailed [email protected] and no response. So we have to assume it's a thing of the past.

 

Too bad you aren't having it this year. It's a 1st class event, very well run and very well attended. I'm sure it raises a decent amount of money too. We will look forward to it next year.
