We recently had a great customer of ours contact us in regards to doing a Testarossa on a set of HRE 505 Vintage wheels. So we decided to do a rendering for the customer and it just blew our mind! What do you guys think?

Way too much lip on the rear rims but otherwise looks great.

+1, the front wheels look fantastic, the rear ones way too deep.

Same look front and rear, I'd be seriously ready to get a set.

Stunning - 18" would be the max size too, I agree on the rear lip, are they available with less?

Not for me. I prefer the "OEM" look personally. Sorry.

It was surprising but fun to see my car shod with different wheels! I like my 512 wheels better.

Please go for 18" and then this might be the best looking wheel on the testarossa.

19" looks just like "wanna be"...sorry...

I agree with others about the rear. I also like the 512 wheels better.

19" will be a stiff ride.

Deep lips are absolutely contemporary on the testarossa - i like that look a lot and it´s matching perfectly to the iconic shapes.

The 512TR wheels are nice, but they also make the car look like "wanna be (a modern Ferrari)" in my eyes.

    The HRE wheels are wonderful!

My preference for the OEM look notwithstanding, these appear to be really wonderful looking wheels, though I too could do without the deep dish.

However, wider and stickier tires on a Testarossa?

... that is a recipe for disaster with the stock diff. :(

    WARNING:

I BOUGHT & PAID FOR WHEELS FROM THESE GUYS AT WHEELS BOUTIQUE AND WHEN THEY CAME IN AND DIDN'T FIT, I RETURNED THEM TWICE AND THEY WERE NEVER MADE TO FIT.

I NEVER GOT WHEELS OR ANY REFUND OR CREDIT- THESE GUYS ARE THE LOWEST OF THE LOW. DO NOT CONSIDER DEALING WITH THEM IS MY BEST ADVICE.!!!!!!!

PS- I've always had a liking for the HRE Vintage and I like the look and the deep dish on the back. I suppose the dish issue is preference.

I have a Boxer and was considering to try & build a set so I could keep my original wheels home safe & not have to worry about sourcing TRX metric tires which are out of production for the moment.

I still love my original 16" wheels and use them regularly but when I want a more modern look I've found the 19" black scuds really work nicely for me, particularly with my nero interior. Ride quality is great too. Chris at Exoticar will hook you up!

I believe the HRE price sheet has them listed at $1700/1800/1900 each for 18"/19"/20" variants.

I had a set of HRE 505 wheels made for my Boxer in 18" and ordered them through Brian Buxton @ BuxtonMotorsports

I used to think that only the original wheel looked right on a Boxer but after seeing a set of HRE 505s on the Boxer they look right to me.

The good news is that Brian has all the correct measurements for the BBi so all you would have to do is order a set and pick your finishes.

Glad you like the rims Monty! We have some photos of the rims on the car, but none with the car on the ground (Monty is finishing a complete restoration on the car).

    Moe,

Sorry to hear that. That is terrible!!! Why didn't you put a stop payment on the credit card. Wheels Boutique needs to respond quickly!!!!!!!!!!! This is the second problem I have heard with Wheels Boutique.
