Any idea how much it costs to/from London via heli? It might be just myself if not one other person and I'd of course be willing to share a ride. Also any recommendations on services?

    Thanks!

Cost from Oxford (appelton ) was GBP230- about 10 years ago... I'll have to find the chopper company - they flew eurocopters... very nice! and quick easy way in and out.

going rate is ~£500 these days. Definitely recommend it if you can spare it. The trip by the track itself is horrible, especially if it starts raining...Taxi will charge you £50 from train station and then again to go back. Save yourself the stress and do it.

I paid a little bit more than that but booked a heli out of Denham through Heli Air. Looking forward to the race!

I paid about 600 pounds per person last year with Heli Air. It included a courtesy car from the helipad to our stand and back. Good service and, despite the price, good value I thought.
