Not really, just saying that the world is much bigger than just NA :) There is life on other continents.

It does people good to get out and about a bit to see that there are other ways to do things.

In this case, I deciphered a post by adding punctuation (probably made by a non native english speaker - hard to tell, no profile filled out ?) that didn't quite make sense.

My comment about monopoly money was a jest about the high price of the Dino mentioned in the post.

    Cheers

Not all countries in Europe use the Euro currency.
to name a few; Bulgaria (Lewa), Czech Republic (Krona), Denmark (Krone), Sweden (Krona), the United Kingdom (Pound Sterling)

Since the OP didn't disclose his country, the location of the sale or the currency used, we are to guess what he is trying to convey. Some having fun doing it.
A courteous explanation of the currency used would be helpful.

Why are higher prices good news? If you're in it for the pleasure of ownership and driving (which most proclaim they are), then higher values only result in higher insurance premiums and probably less driving, and reduced accessibility to many potential owners. Typically, higher values ultimately result in price creep in parts, service and restoration costs as well, even though those in the business might deny it.

On the other hand, if you're just in it for the money.....

Well yes, but GT4 prices are quite low, so that even a doubling in value is not going to make it a truly "expensive" car where people are going to be reluctant to use it.
And a benefit of higher prices is that owners are more inclined to spend money on maintaining and restoring them which in the long term means more of the cars survive or are repaired in case of accident, rather than written off.
(But when the cost of say an engine rebuild is the same as the value of the car then most people are simply going to park the car and let it slowly rot or sell it for parts - bad.)

The price of a car is relative to what other types of car can be bought for the same money,if GT4 prices are going to increase massively, you have to ask yourself if there has been a change in the markets perception of the relative value of GT4's vs other Ferrari's (say 308GTB) , or if the whole market has moved, and the relativity has stayed the same.

I've not seen evidence of either, so my guess is that there must be a story behind the car mentioned by the O.P. that justifies it's high price, I don't think this one sale is a reliable indicator that GT4 prices are moving up significantly.

I’m not sure why you’d feel inclined to provide such an interpretation, but on reflection you may be a bit generous in suggesting a witticism masquerading as a spelling mistake.

Why is the engine being sold separately? How can there be coolant in the car without an engine?

No affiliation, on ebay. Has the rear shelf instead of seats.

    Good day All,

    Here is the direct link...

    Ferrari : 308 GT4 2+2 in Ferrari | eBay Motors

Is it just me, but doesn't the front air dam look odd? Also, I wonder why there are two holes (I am assuming they are holes) with black plugs(?) on either side of the rear fender near the rear bumper. Call me nostalgic, but I prefer the originally chromed window/door handles, as opposed to the blacked out treatment they received.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Looks like the headliner has been painted black too. Wonder if it is an original rear shelf...

Looks pretty rough and very unoriginal. Wasn't there another GT4 that had the black trim recently for sale?
